That was kick ass, Bonzo influenced more drummers than ( I believe) than any other drummer.
Bonzo got more sound out of a smaller kit, than most w large kits.
He would be proud knowing he influenced so many !!

Amazing groove from Stanton Moore. Why in the hell Rikki Rocket? Why not a real Bonham kit? A Ludwig amber Vistalite kit with a 402 Supraphonic snare should have been on stage.
The "VISTALITE" was specially made 4 "BONZO" I don't believe LUDWIG made them commercialy.

who the hell was drumming at 5.25 of the vid.looks like a woman,but i am confused.was hitting quite well.if a woman,i was surprised.bonzo was a hitter,but it's a technic,not only the power of the hit.mixing jazz w/ rock-a pioneer.you can see it,when he changed the grip on sticks and played snares.buddy was an influence and it's obvious.

This is Bonzo Bash. Somebody please Explain, Why isn't there a Ludwig replica kit up there? I'm proud of the great Drummers there every year remembering and honoring one of the Greatest JHB.
Because Brian Tichy is the organizer, and he was a Natal endorsee at the time. So if he had been seen playing a Ludwig kit, he would've breached his contract.

Bonzo played w finesse, but also with power. John Bonham never lifted his sticks any lower than 6 inches except while playing dynamically.
Either you're not a true Bonham fan, or you don't play drums, and if you do play drums, your idol must be, Max Weinberg. He sucks as badly as the rest of these guys! Holy smokes, I can't believe you even said such a thing.

Frazier killed as always and was the only one swung the groove slightly (very Bonzo) and who focused on the kick which was Bonzo's real weapon
