@@Moon-D0G I would take a look at the sheet linked in the descriptions. It has an overview of farming profits. Make sure to pick a crop with high sales volume (daily volume) for selling fast with 1 day BP. You can also consider doing trade crates which don't require a VP
good video Summer :) I would note that u can use 10 free fences. 2 old moon fences and 8 shabby fences, for 4 magical seeds and 8 special seeds total. Spending CP on fences is not worth it imo, but it is better than having CP in storage at least

Not gonna lie, it seems like a big time waste to not spend that contribution on almost double the amounts of crops. And you need to have insanely large worker empire to use up all contribution you have, unless you weren't efficient in using it.

There is one advantage to using Special seeds over Magical seeds: you get a LOT more Blush Leaves. A TON more. From 10 fences I'm getting almost 200 Blush Leaves per "full" seed harvest (to re-fill my farm) of Special Seeds (Master 8 Farming). It's translating into more Farming experience and more CP because I turn them ALL in for the CP/EXP exchange. Note: I'm doing this on the Season server, which may have a higher drop rate of Blush Leaves. I always keep one character on the Season server for farming and horse taming (the horse nodes are almost always up on the Season server and nobody is taming there). I feel like it's worth the extra time to get the extra leaves to farm CP with.
Special seeds and magical seeds drop the same amount of blush leaves per 10 fences, 200 blush leaves on average per breed+harvest session. So magical seeds are a net time gain over special seeds.

When I first noticed it, I started full-breeding several crops as a test, and the difference was massive. I'd get 100 more leaves (5 full turn-ins!) with Specials over Magicals. I'm going to admit that my sample size is small -- only 15 full crops of each. But my results were consistent. It might not be worth the time differential to someone in Guru farming with 400+ contribution, but as someone who only got into farming this season it's been totally worth it. You may want to test it yourself, if you feel it is worth it. One thing I noticed is that I get more "critical" breeds with Special seeds, where you get three drops of leaves, fruit, a Magical seed, and sometimes even a mole. I honestly can't remember the last time I got a mole from a Magical seed, to be honest. Perhaps more breeding gives a higher chance? I haven't tested it enough.
Not to be picky but the tables for grow times and trade values are off dramatically for many crops such as Radishes and Perilla, perilla is off by an how and a half alone. The optimal grow locations are off for many of them as well. Are there plans to update the spreadsheet? Either way thank you so much for this resource.
appreciate the effort but the growth times have been double-checked with other resources from the lifeskill Discord and validated in-game. If you have a concrete example of a growth time that's lower than what's shown on the sheet or an incorrect optimal location I'd be happy to see it.
The O'Dyllita picture for Narcion is missing. I've been running around it to find a spot for Rice/Radish/Nappa but every spot around Narcion has them just outside the temp range. The temperature map in game is also stupid...when I look on it I have two shades of green, a darker shade(colder) and and a lighter shade(warmer). Every time I move to a colder spot...the map changes to the other. What am I missing?

Heya, you can use workers from any city, no node connection needed. Workers that travel farther take longer to initially get to the farm. But once workers are on the farm, they will keep pruning until they run out of stamina. They will keep tending to your farm as long you have auto-feed enabled and enough worker food in your family inventory.
Back when I was cooking Mediah Meal, I did farm Magical Haystack for a sustainable Milk source. Can you further explain why farming for Milk is a bad idea?
i have been farming special strawberies for weeks in the pupose of exchanging them and do coocking with them but now u told me that they don't benefit from crop exchange... since most their receipies are x1 i should probably just sell them in the mp and buy white one from vendor

Might as well ask here since I want to drive up engagement; So Deyumyum told me that he is pruning all of his because he wanted to get to G40 farming, and it brought a few good points in that it lowers gather time the higher the level. I guess this doesn't really matter if you farm magicals? Also it seems like you drop hards when you prune yourself? I have been turning in my leaves for XP and the CP, and he said that XP doesn't compare, and because I am under 450 it seems like it gives a lot of CP, but really it isn't worth it, and that will slow down xp gain? I like magicals for fruit and xp for now, I am 437 cp atm. I do not cook, so that don't matter, just want xp and cp, and fruit for elixirs.
The farming outfit reduces your farming time by 2 seconds and gives 30% EXP. With 100 seeds, that's 200 seconds saved each cycle. With 20 magical seeds, you save 40 seconds per cycle. It's more of a convenience item and will only give a minor time saving if you're already using magical seeds. So it's up to you.

You get 855 milk out of 1 farming session. That's less than 20 mil in value. Might as well buy the milk and farm something more profitable.

just RNG. You get 1-3 seeds, 1.55 on average
So the only thing I can do is increase the farm size and hope for better rng

When farming for EXP you would use special seeds. And yes, pruning can drop shards.
