I cannot begin to express how much you have saved me with introducing me to movies i havent yet seen. Ive been dealing with deep depression and helps me get through it from watching the movies you introduce. Thank you again mama!
God, I love your lists. There are4 movies I've been on the fence about. Looking forward to watching. Back Country wasn't a movie a expected to like, it's not normally the type of movie I watch, just because they are hard to do well. I think I've watched it about 3 times, so I guess I liked it. The Invitation is one of my favorite movies. I've seen it half a dozen times and I would watch it again. I love every twist and and every frame. From the moment the movie starts we, like the protagonist, are jarred. The protagonist and his new wife has been invited to a dinner party at his ex wife's home, his former home. The characters are old friends reuniting after a tragedy that lead to the breaking of their marriage just a couple years earlier, and for the protagonist at least, those feelings are raw. The group of friends are clearly comfortable and loving with each other, and in what will be awkward ab awkward situation, they love each other enough to try and find a way to help There are new friends as well, friends of his ex-wife's new husband, and though they say they are a family, they do not exude the love of the couples original friends. That feeling of being jarred, of something being off, is reinforced by the home of the dinner invitation. The protagonist lived there when he was with his first wife. She still lives there with her new husband. When he notices things that are off, rationally, of course it would be different. When he's alone, he sees things, and he's wrestling with himself not to overreact. His friends tell him he's jumping at shadows, this was never going to be easy. This isn't about things leaping of the screen at you for hours. It takes it's time to slowly build, each piece, link by link, until you are the only one agreeing with the protagonist and are as anxiety ridden as he is. Love this movie.
This is the best movie suggesting channel I have found till date. I have subscribed to many channels like this bt every one of them just didn't have the guts to show you the out of the box movies. Keep it coming
Omg ive watched backcountry so many times. Its gotta be my favorite. Youre right about how realistic it is. I felt like i was there during attack.. so scary and heart breaking.
Love ur movie suggestions! Here are my 5 new favs : Bender, The Bygone, Ice House, Numb, 1 Buck. All psyc.thrillers ! And to Timski - no, have never been attacked by a "beer". But if so, I would definately win!
Loved bad Samaritan....cop car is a awesome movie....back country is great would watch 100 times.... I would recommend these 3 movies over any new movie. Can't go wrong..
"and an adult wild """beer""" attacks the trail." Sometimes I struggle with what she is talking about. Anyone out there ever been attacked by an adult "beer" ?
i have watched all these ..none of these are that thrilling....but the cop car is the classy and beautiful one .. and i will give 2nd position to dragged across concrete
Hold the Dark, Bad Samaritan, Cop Car, Dragged Across Concrete, Backcountry, The Invitation, Sleep Tight - all solid choices, though HtD was a disappointment after the highs of Blue Ruin and Green Room
@@JacquelynNhi Yeah me too, At first I just little bit skeptical, too slow, not in mood, but when I tried to watch at second time, all my doubt was gone, the first 10-20 minutes, from middle to end, It's really paid off my curiosity.
Hold the Dark was super weird and I hated the ending. Dragged Across Concrete was one of the worst movies I ever watched. The first hour was just unbearable! I literally hated that movie! And I am a big Torry Kittles and Michael Jai White fan! That movie was just unwatchable. I told everyone I knew how much I hated it. Have to check out some of the others on the list.
I am going to watch backcountry now. / watched/ omg this is brutal reality horror based on a true event. I mean, if this doesn't shock someone, it has got to be a complete insensitive person.

Do not understand the positive reviews for The Invitation. It was predictable and boring. The guest was much better.

Hold the Dark, Bad Samaritan, Cop Car, Dragged Across Concrete, Backcountry, The Invitation, Sleep Tight - all solid choices, though HtD was a disappointment after the highs of Blue Ruin and Green Room

Did she really say physiological thriller? Smh. I'm judging
The cop car looks interesting to watch...
Rented at redbox awhile back it was a decent movie.
The invitation is a horror movie, isn't it? I read it everywhere. I don't like horrors. I like thrillers.
It's not a horror movie
I’ve watched Backcountry. The bear scene sticks with me.
