- Highlights from Warbirds Over Scone, one of the biggest warbird airshows in the southern hemisphere in recent years. Highlights included a four-ship P-40 Kittyhawk display (the largest P-40 gathering in Australia since WWII), the Fw190, the first public performance by newly-restored Spitfire MH603 and a 10-ship warbird balbo.

On another note, I thoroughly enjoyed your video and was glad to see a different line-up of aircraft.
Listened a couple of times, but couldn't tell the P40 with the Merlin from the others!
I'm surprised YT didn't censor out the swastika on the FW-190. Nice to see history play out.
Just imagine yourself on the ground in Britain or Europe during WWII and hearing the whine of superchargers and the rumbling purr of the engines of many aircraft of the day…day after day for 6 years.

I didn't go to this years show, thinking the weather would spoil it, only managed a few average pics from my house, just looked at some of the pics and thought I noticed a Corsair, haven't seen one in Scone before, sorry to miss the FW190 though, got some distant pics on my Nikon P900. Anzac Day featured a low, quick pass by a Spitfire though, not sure which one it was, that made up for it.

Great video. Really enjoyed this great airshow. Is the 190 one of the Flugwerk "new builds"?
Thanks. She's based on the remains of an original Fw190 built in 1944 and buried underground for many decades after the war. She was rebuilt in the USA between 2001 and 2011 and contains a lot of Flugwerk parts, but isn't quite a new-build.

More ads on here than aircraft.
We never add adverts manually, so if I'm understanding you correctly, all you're seeing are UA-cam's automatic adverts. But it should amount to only a minute or two, for a half-hour film, which is still considerably better than most commercial TV channels.
@@ThisisFlight I wasn't inferring that you placed ads in the video. I am talking about UA-cam interference.
Yes, it is frustrating. Actually I don't know how intrusive or regular the ad breaks are in these videos, I tend not to watch them through after uploading them. I shall watch a couple in full here on UA-cam over the coming days and if the number of ads is clearly a bit silly, I will look into ways of reducing them. There are ways to edit or remove ad breaks individually, I think. Glad you enjoyed the video despite it, though!
