I don't know how people can't appreciate how Atif plays at a 2x speed. This final was a great mixture of Atif being so agressive and Arslan being Defensive genius as he was always. Thanks for such Great Tekken.
I think Atif's defence is also very underrated.
I think overall he's been more consistent than Arslan in tekken 8. Atif could have won if he didn't go for that greedy predictable low at the end.

This gives great in sight into sitting side by side vs across from each other, Arslan can react to certain inputs when he's side by side while also operating his stick differently to others to maybe hide his own just adds another layer where Atiff and I'd assume most of Arslans opponents can't throw out certain moves because of his reaction time

The translation doesn't clarify one major part. The rest is pretty accurate but the whole time atif is trying to say that arslan was "reacting" to his inputs as in he'd see or hear atifs inputs on his stick and would therefore then react to them knowing what move is coming. They also then discussed how doing the same to arslan would be difficult because of the way his hands are concealing the stick and buttons.
This was a huge part that got lost a bit in translation. Atif kept teasing arslan for "reacting" to his inputs, suggesting that if he wasn't sitting besside him arslan wouldn't be able to react and arslan kept trying to defend himself by saying you just keep using the same moves
Atif was saying, Arsalan played with reactive approach and it was difficult to judge Arsalan's next move because he covers all buttons with his fingers and Arsalan was teasing Atif because of repetition of same move.
