+The River Thank you, I'm watching it already and yes, it's very good. It's speaks volume to my heart and soul :)
Realizing that I can receive the love of the father by God as I ask Him to be my father and thus receive his fathering is truly life changing.
I've had since childhood a great trauma within me that I could not get rid of no matter what I read, thought or imagined. I have been in a spiritual path since the last 6 years to heal and find myself... and in all honesty, I had prejudices and resistances towards Christianity, but now I realize that the Christian viewpoint on the father wound by Pastor Paul Arends is giving me my life back.
I finally feel a sense of wholeness and completeness that I've never felt before. My posture has changed. My gaze. My smile. My voice.
Metaphorically, I can finally relax in the garden of the kingdom of God within me as I enjoy and appreciate the beautiful flowers of life

Wow! Your honesty is profound. I prayed for the Father to show up in a huge way. And here it is! I’m blessed and healed. My heart literally felt like it had a hole in it. Today was one of my darkest days...

I feel like this is me. I feel like I have an infection festering in me and I want to just rip it out. I feel so sick everyday. I want God to heal me because this affects my relationships with males and I have a huge fear of committing to a guy because of it. Jesus..please heal me. Bring me to a place where my wound is opened and healed. Please Jesus.

Thank you for your transparency, how wonderful to experience this expression in Christ. I have a rift that has brought much tragedy in my family, forgiveness seems like the first stage. Come Lord Jesus in power and gentleness into our wounds. Let the living water cleanse, heal, and refresh our broken hearts. Thank you Jesus for restoring all things by your precious spirit!

Thanks for sharing your story! As a daughter, I struggle with father wounds. Beginning in 1997, God began the long process of my inner healing from low self-esteem, emotional & verbal emotional, etc., due in part to father wounds. It is beneficial to hear of others who have had those struggles, as well.

Thank you for sharing your touching experience. Now, the big question is how do we help guide today's young men to grow to be honest, loving & caring (empatheic) individuals that see themselves as part of the world, not the center of it? Narcissism is an unfortunate growing trend with today's youth, but seems to be much more prevalent in males. I, for one, think society places many expectations on males and often with mixed/conflicting messages. We expect them to be "men" under the old Victorian definition, and that is just one of many issues I see. The other is not allowing our youth to develop a sense of self, in a way that gives them the confidence to be true to their individual identity. We expect everyone to fit a certain mold, and clearly, it's not working.

very compassionate talk. i only wonder why it is difficult to believe that God is a God, and not a father/creation/part of his creation?

check Sadhguru talking about how to be a good father, he's wonderful. He says it's up to the parents to make the children adore them and make them into their disciples because they want to be just like you.
