Sorry for ending the video so abruptly, it was getting dark and started to rain.
Getting the out drive back in it’s place requires patience and lots of wiggling. After the 6 bolts are tightened on the out drive. Connect your shift linkage and adjust so that neutral is in the correct position.
Parts list in kit form or individual purchased depending on your needs.

Don't EVER take this video down. Great job! In your opinion, is this too much to tackle for someone that has never removed an outdrive before and is a very, very novice mechanic? I bought my 01 190 Stingray (3.0L Penta SX) last summer from a private seller and did all the general maintenance stuff like plugs/wires, distributor cap, impeller, carb clean and fluid changes but, have never pulled an outdrive. You make it look doable but I know the truth is that it can be a challenge even for the expert mechanic if parts don't want to go in or out easy.
The boat has never seen salt water so that's good thing but with 259 hours on the engine, I don't know when the bellows were last changed. They look intact as far as I can see into the outdrive but I know there's a lot I can't see even with a USB cable camera. What are the general costs of parts including specialized tools you showed verses the cost of taking it somewhere to have it done?

Hi. First great video. It helped me to see how this is done. I just did mine and would like to add this info to help others. Volvo Penta now suggests "Dry Fitting" both bellows now and not to add gasket maker or sealer. Also at the 20:33 mark on your video you state "I replaced both O rings. Only 1 is required and its the one closest to the hose not the one near the threads. If you notice that channel where it looks like an o ring should go has a hole in the channel. that hole should be facing the 9:00 position (with no o ring). If you look at your housing you will see a slotted screw that can be removed and the water in the hose can be drained from there. the o ring blocks that function of the design. I also coated all of my grounding wire screws, my tilt sensor screws and my pivot bolts with anti seize. I think Loctite is asking for lots of trouble with snapped bolts.

next time crack the pivot housing hinge bolts loose BEFORE you remove the drive, much easier, the drive/trim rams will keep the pivot housing from moving around.
also, the VP drives tend to corrode between the pivot housing and the drive housing, and can really get stuck on there, so coat the mating surface of both with a good marine grease like Evinrude triple guard, that will prevent corrosion. I use OMC/Evinrude gasket sealer on the bolts that hold the drive on and the pivot housing hinge bolts. I don't think loctite is really needed even though VP says it is.

Shoes would be good. Once a year all these components should be inspected. Every other year, the lower impeller should be repaired. My dad ignored all these maintenance items and our boats were a nightmare. Also, if you’re going to work on your boat, a power ratchet would be a good investment. Furthermore, get a mechanics seat on wheels. It will save your back.

Anyone know how often and how much to re grease via that starboard side fitting? Can it be done without removing the bellows or what happens to the old grease being pushed out?

I didn't think the engine was out of alignment with the gimbal bearing so I never used the alinement tool. If you took the engine out of your boat and put it back in I could see needing to align the engine crankshaft with the bearing. Thanks for the comment.

hey just need to comment you put the bearing in backwards. around the 18 minute mark the 2 indented sections of the bearing should face towards the engine you shouldn't be able to view those 2 notches when it is finally installed, also you can freeze the bearing to make it easier for installation if you don't have access to the special tool.
