Hey Vic. I remember when I was a kid and my great grandfather ordered black coffee in a restaurant and what they gave him was a regular (Amedigaaan) cup of coffee with no cream and sugar. This reminds me so much of my ex-partner’s family. The father was Sicilian-American. He was constantly at his wife about everything, from her cooking to her house cleaning skills. She was a saint & he was a wonderful man who showed his love by teasing his wife & kids. They just didn’t get it. I loved that man. May he Rest In Peace.
