I praise God you were able to enjoy your parents for so long. What a beautiful tribute to your Grandpa! We visited your parents & grandparents when we were in Florida last winter with my inlaws. We were renting the Airbnb directly behind their house. Your parents were very hospitable, and I don't think your Grandma has ever met a stranger, I immediately felt like I'd known her for years. I'm praying for her as adjusts to the changes this brings. What a tremendous blessing it is to have Grandparents who know Jesus and desire that we know Him too.

Dear dear Lynette, that was so beautiful. I'm a 70 year old man in North London, not particularly religious, sitting here in tears. How lucky you were to have had his company for so long. My last grandparent passed away 56 years ago, when I was 14 - OH how I miss them. My parents are gone too, and I have 2 older sisters and 2 distant cousins remaining. I do believe there is 'something' after we are gone, otherwise, what is the point. To share what you just have, was a lovely thing to do, even the scenes at the graveside - beautiful. It is something we all have to face. The precious memories stay for ever, and the grief will get easier. Your entire family are beautiful, and I've been following you for a couple of years now, and learned so much from you. We can only imagine what it is like to take your last breath here on earth and then be in the presence of God! He now has a perfect body, free of pain and full memory. I was so close with my Grandpa and even though it's been over 50 years since he passed I remember it like yesterday. He taught me how to hammer a nail, paint, grow african violets and save money. He could sew and we made a bag for my marbles together. I understand your loss and the ache in your heart. I lost my grandpa in 2018. Cherokee was his first language but he knew English as well. He was a bilingual reverend. I miss going to church with him and hearing him preach. Those are memories I’ll never get back but I am thankful I got to experience them ❤️ I’m from Oklahoma and in Oklahoma City, there is a museum dedicated to native Americans and there is a picture of him in there. When I saw it, I was just overcome with emotions and tears.
What a loving and heartfelt tribute to such a beloved man. I cared for my mother, who had dementia, for almost 7 years. All but the last 6 weeks were at home. I totally get it when you talked about your grandma having lost him once already, before he left his physical body. I felt the same way. At moms’s showing, someone said something to me that gave me such comfort and peace-“ yes, we are sad now, and feeling such great loss, but consider that s(he) is the lucky and blessed one, to be living with Jesus now, fully healed, and fully restored. You will be together again, and it will be a glorious day of reunion.” I pray for continued peace and healing for you and your family❤
Lynette, This was such a heart touching video. I pray the skids continued comfort be with each of you. My momma took care of my daddy as he suffered his last years with Alzheimer’s. It’s all so debilitating and debating. She was such a beautiful caregiver and I thanked her time and again for being so. I can totally understand what you are saying about your grandmother finding rest and being able to get out and do things. I am so grateful she has all of you and you all have her. I lost my grandpa on the 4th of December. I'm exactly 50 years younger then him by one day. I'm his 1st grandkid and he was born on Valentines Day and me on the 15th. He was my bestfriend, my hero, my heart. Bless you sweet girl your in my prayers.

I lost my grandpa in 2018. Cherokee was his first language but he knew English as well. He was a bilingual reverend. I miss going to church with him and hearing him preach. Those are memories I’ll never get back but I am thankful I got to experience them ❤️
I’m from Oklahoma and in Oklahoma City, there is a museum dedicated to native Americans and there is a picture of him in there. When I saw it, I was just overcome with emotions and tears.
What a loving and heartfelt tribute to such a beloved man. I cared for my mother, who had dementia, for almost 7 years. All but the last 6 weeks were at home. I totally get it when you talked about your grandma having lost him once already, before he left his physical body. I felt the same way. At moms’s showing, someone said something to me that gave me such comfort and peace-“ yes, we are sad now, and feeling such great loss, but consider that s(he) is the lucky and blessed one, to be living with Jesus now, fully healed, and fully restored. You will be together again, and it will be a glorious day of reunion.” I pray for continued peace and healing for you and your family❤

My momma took care of my daddy as he suffered his last years with Alzheimer’s. It’s all so debilitating and debating. She was such a beautiful caregiver and I thanked her time and again for being so.
I can totally understand what you are saying about your grandmother finding rest and being able to get out and do things. I am so grateful she has all of you and you all have her.
The singing is so precious in this video…no tears in Heaven will be known. Thank you Lord.

I was with my Mom when she drew her last breath so I understand. I think of her everyday…it takes time to learn to live without her, but I find peace knowing she is happy and no more pain…and we will meet again. God Bless you in this sad time. You are an inspiration to me ❤

I lost my grandpa on the 4th of December. I'm exactly 50 years younger then him by one day. I'm his 1st grandkid and he was born on Valentines Day and me on the 15th. He was my bestfriend, my hero, my heart. Bless you sweet girl your in my prayers.

My grandmother (who I was super close with) also suffered with Lewy-body and Parkinsons 💔 It's so hard to watch your loved one go through this. I am thankful for the extra time you were able to spend together as a family over the holidays.

It’s so difficult to watch them slowly decline, but God was merciful and she knew all of us, even our pets 😢 I noticed that your Grandpa and my Mom were the same age. Lynette, I did hospice for many years and there was always a nurse, an aide or a volunteer who made themselves available so a patient would never have to pass away alone. I’m sure your grandpa could hear your beautiful voice singing to him before he drew his last breath. Prayers for your grandmother and for you and your family. We all love you.

Oh my Lynette! What a small world! I remember my grandparents saying they went to Holmes County (this past summer I think). Anyway, my grandpa thought it was so special he went and saw their Israel tour guide who had Parkinson’s. I’m almost positive it was your grandpa! It meant so much to my Grandpa that he could visit him. That’s so so special! 🥹
The loss of a very dear loved one is hard. My condolences to you and your family. Please remember that grief has no time limit and has many stages. From previous videos and posts you made, the love could be seen. His presence will always be felt with the memories you have.
In this last part, I feel deeply as it helps me with the loss of my father 10 years ago.
As I was listening to you, my heart broke but at the same time was rejoicing w you! Absolutely no pain and perfect!!! I think of your grandma often as I’m taking care of MY husband; 5 1/2 years and yes I have felt the exact same way. I lost him also then so it’s a matter of time as well. It’s a bittersweet time, sad for those who love him so, but glory for him 🙌🏼 To have a new body, be whole again, with no more pain, and with our Lord! It’s what we look forward to, our Hope.

Wow, the joy on his face @10:20! Made me cry. We lost my dad 1 year ago so this all feels really fresh still. The walk of seeing the decline and then ultimately passing. Thank you, for sharing. I'm going to see about getting that book. I grew up in Ontario so I find it fascinating that your grandparents did missionary work there. Blessings!
