- Continuing our Harro Moissanite video series with a much anticipated comparison against its Charles & Colvard counterpart, and of course the industry, a natural diamond. Each video is shown in the order of diamond, Harro Moissanite and C&C moissanite from left to right. While it is best to watch the video and make your own conclusions, some quick takeways are that the diamond will always have the most even sparkle throughout while the C+C is the winner in the fire (spectral colors) category. Finally, Harro offers you a nice middle ground and the opportunity to mimic the exact shape/outline of a diamond. Let us know your thoughts below and everyone is welcome to weigh in.

I just love how clear the diamond looks
I liked the crispness and clarity of the diamonds before I realized it was a diamond. But if these were all in a bin together, I would think they are all diamonds
In sunlight that Moissanite will throw more fire than those other 2. The Moissanite is better in everything except hardness compared to diamond

Diamonds NATURALLY look like crushed ice inside...it’s not the cut.
That’s exactly what I thought the cut of the diamond is not the same so it’s not a exact comparison. Furthermore sizes do not look the same. And no, all diamonds do not look like crushed iced inside 😒 #nicetry

Great series of videos! Have you seen the NEO diamond cut? I'm wondering how it Stacks up to a real diamond. From the series I could see the diamond is better, but the hearts and arrows looks good in the round cut
Charles and Covard living up there name. Moissianites look horrible next to the diamond, but probably bc Harro is right next to it. When comparing the 2 moissianite the forever1 out shines harro.

daisyhinojosa23 ofcourse they do! They have the most beautiful fire with white sparkles while moissanite is more comparable to a discoball

Diamonds have significantly less fire, but they do have some. Brilliance is refracted white light that isn’t dispersed into colors (fire). Moissanite trades some brilliance for fire. The extra fire can look gaudy with larger stones, which is where smaller facets from cuts like the Hearts and Arrows come in.
The diamond here does look very clear and nice, but it would cost a fortune. And, the difference may mainly be from its cut rather than being a diamond specifically. The extra contrast is from the black backdrop showing through. It would be interesting to see them compared to a Brilliant cut rather than Crushed Ice cut diamond. The diamonds that people would realistically buy would not look that nice. Lab created diamonds are a good option in that care, but they are still quite expensive.

Why did it seem like the diamonds have more facets than the moissanites?

Heart and Arrow can only be round cut and that was a brilliant cut

The diamond appears to have a different cut but the Forever Moissonite is a close second. I'd like to see a price comparison.

To be fair the diamonds dont look as well cut as the other two so they are not an ideal comparison.

I will be popping the question to my girlfriend very soon and I'm looking into engagement rings and doing some research. I'm a totally newbie to all this harro/ moissanite and diamond talk...but the diamond does look far more crisp. Aren't they all diamonds? Do they all come from a different rock? I was looking a local shop's website thinking it was a diamond rock named harro but I'm legit confused if harro is just the style of diamond or its something else made to look like a diamond. Need advice thank you.
