That food looked AMAZING and so much better than Panda Express, lol. Gyoza and Yakisoba? Yes, please!!
Cheer up Satoshi. Hope youre ok👍
When I am raveling, I stop at every city. Love it all.
Loved this 💖🌸I know the 2 of you are itching to travel, but those of us who LOVE anything Japan are enjoying these vlogs where you explore YOUR world and show us the beauty that is Japan💖🌸 Domo Arigato💖🌸
Happy New Year just love all Japanese food lm excited to see all the different kinds of food enjoy ur meal be safe God BLESS to all of u
Wow! Thank you Shinichi and Satoshi! I haven't been back to Japan in over 10 years and now Miyashita Park is a building that calls itself a park! 😳🤯😮
When I first started living in Japan, I liked to go to Shibuya all the time, but the longer I lived there, the less I went to Shibuya. Maybe I enjoyed going there because I was young, or because it felt familiar since it was one of the first places I visited and stayed around in Japan. But later on I was able to start exploring a lot of other places. Looking forward to see the new Shibuya and Miyashita park when I can go back to Japan! Great video, thank you!
The last time I went to Japan was the Summer of 2003 when I graduated from high school. Japan has a special place in my heart. I loved visiting Yokohama, the various eats, and shopping at Tower Records, Shinkong Mitsukoshi, and Sogo. 🇯🇵 ❤️
Hi there! We really love all of your videos. You make me and my mom very happy by taking us to different places. We always feel like we’re traveling too 🤣 I hope Satoshi and you will always be healthy and safe 🥰 Sending love from the Philippines!
This new haircut suits you so well ! Congrats ! Great video, as always.
Hi Shinichi and Satoshi how you doing good to see you guy's love Japanese street food yummie thanks for sharing this video enjoy it alot
I absolutely LOOOOVE Shibuya.
Shin Chan & Satoshi Just can’t wait for the Pandemic to go away so I can visit Japan ..Domo Arigato for bringing Japan to us thru all of ur wonderful videos ❤️❤️❤️
Every time I go to Tokyo, I always like to go to Shibuya atleast once just to take in the absurdness of Shibuya Crossing. It never ceases to amaze me. Its also a nice place to do a little people watching.
I'm an Aussie & when I travel to Japan I don't want to stay too long in Tokyo if I can help it. However I do try to visit areas such Shibuya, Shinjuku and Shinbashi because they have some things of interest (food, clothes, etc). My real interest is in the Japanese countryside. And if I can be the only gaigin, then I am happy. This means I am always seeking out not very well known villages where the locals will struggle with English & my poor NihonGo. ;-) But that's 1/2 the fun!
I remember that old park. The most interesting this there used to be the baseball court and teh skate park but otherwise it was indeed not much. This looks amazing!!! IThe very first time I came to Tokyo my language school was in Shibuya but now I never come to Shibuya anymore, haven't been there for years except to change trains, but this complex is worth a visit next time I think :) Have you been to the Shibuya river area recently? I also saw that they revamped the Shibuya river site, that area looks nice as well nowadays from what I saw on videos.
Greetings to all from Switzerland 😀
Oh dear. You will premier at 2am. Will have to watch with a hot coffee in morn. X x
Looks interesting that park complex, more like a shopping center than a real park. But delicious food 🤤🤤👍
That crowd at the crossing, though slightly smaller than prior to the pandemic, reminds me of why I don't like going there lol. Nice to see that the side areas are much more clear though.
I love it when Satoshi is your guest 🌟 on your video's its so special . That food looks yummy feeling hungry. This is nice to see in a Covid World . JAPAN is so beautiful you are very lucky.
Nice video..I hope to be there this year!!!..hey... Satoshi looks kind of blue or like he didn't want to do the video...is he OK?
I remember Shinichi mentioning that maybe Satoshi was worried about corona virus, I understand how someone may not want to be out & about especially with the current rising cases in Tokyo. That's just my guess tho.
I think Shibuya is one of the most well known places in Japan to foreigners, so whenever you mention Japan, they think of Shibuya. The crossing itself is quite a spectacle to go and see; I went there on my trip in Japan a few years ago!
Thanks for bringing me again to Shibuya❤️
I really liked Shibuya! I liked harajuku all the food to be found there
Konichiwa Shinichi San! thank you so much for sharing this Vlog! I did not been yet there in that part of Shibuya, I was planing now to go there too so that I will be to have an experience in a different kind of food over there..
it's only been a bit over a year since i moved back to the states from tokyo, and there's already so many new places in shibuya to check out. it's crazy how fast they build these new buildings and how quickly everything changes in tokyo. I def have to check it out next time i'm back!
excited . always waiting for your videos . lets go 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
So love your takes on food 😘 as always. Such a passion you and Satoshi have for all good foods. Btw I do love Shibuya area
Ah, makes me remember my times in Japan. Thanks for posting. Just subscribed. Hey, quick question: What camera did you use for this vlog? Ty!
Hope to check this place out someday! I'm glad you guys decided to check out the yokocho! I do love Shibuya! What kind of camera are you using in this video?
Yeh we're looking forward to checkin that place out when we can!!!
👍
Another gem. Thanks mate
I really love how you take efforts and I wish you won't get tired doing videos like this. You both became one of my most favorite people on earth(hope I'm not exaggerating it?)(LOL). Hope we can see each other when you come to Okinawa next time...Take Care guys💖
wonderful urban living, shops and food close to apts and condos. Yes I miss Tower Records, Amazon mostly at fault for ruining that. Thanks for the showing us this, the food looked really good, Panda Express is all over California and Las Vegas so it's a bit over like starbucks, McDonalds and ChickfilA. I would like to see more Pastry shops, like fluffy cheesecake and desserts. I think Japan has beat the French at their own game of desserts.
I think I went to Shibuya three times during my short stay in Tokyo, it really has that big city vibe and some great hidden spots. A bit too busy for me, though.
I like some of the photo areas for Shibuya. Like some of the big buildings you can go to for free to the top floor to take photos.
Thanks for giving us a tour, that place looks cool. Panda Express is great, there’s a reason why
they are so popular and successful
The sculpture is Justin. He was the inspiration for it.
I see Satoshi using his birthday gift...the back pack...it looks comfortable and less bulky.
It is nice to see this but so sad as the UK is still in lockdown so we can't leave our houses. Hopefully Japan will be safe from now on.
Agreed, let’s hope people do this or it will continue on and on. Idiots will always go out.
Great video! Hope Satoshi and you are staying safe. I know it’s been so hard due to the pandemic. The christmas tree was cool! For Alice in Borderland 🤩
I wish we visited miyashita park when we visited Tokyo (I didn't know it existed), but maybe I'll get to go the next time! Thanks for the video :)
Miyashita park so amazing 🎉
I dig your funky skull mask! I have a similar one, but with zombies.
Thank you for allowing me to join you for lunch and your walk through the park.
Hello nwn/ We actually have a custom KitKat store in Australia Sydney too! I have yet to try it too haha but I remember a student told me when it first opened just last year the line was hours long. It would interesting what flavours are available at that mall you showed us today. Thanks for the video tour!
I love watching all your videos, Hafa Adai from Saipan !
This is an interesting place to visite. Thank you.
have been to tokyo several times, and everytime as tourists we go to shibuya as a meeting place. things to do and things to see always seem to be happening there. i think maybe it differs for someone living there because if you're local you know about all the other places to go to, so shibuya might not be as common
I been to shibuya one time. Starbucks in Kyoto is really nice. 😍😁
It’s been almost 1 year since I’ve been in Tokyo and miss Japan
I think the food court being crowded was a good thing, the food at the place you ended up looked good.
My fiancé and I really love nishishinjuku!! Shibuya is definitely for us young people but can be too crowded at times.
Random videos are good!! Thanks!
Hey, Satoshi!
Please make Cooking Dinner videos for us! I want to see you cooking Japanese meals. Hooray!
From Joyce Yamamoto in Minnesota on Lake Superior!
That was a lot of soba. Wow.the food looked amazing as usual.
It's so interesting to see how different places are in Tokyo. Some of them could be mistaken for being worlds apart.
I love it.
Thank you, without both of you showing us these things I'd be missing out on sooooooo much.
ooh i think the christmas tree is a promo for alice in borderland! if i’m not mistaken they filmed in shibuya 😊
I actually stay in the Shibuya area...Enjoy the atmosphere
Yeah! Shinichi has a colour full face mask 😷 now. 😅👏🏼
It is interesting to see that on the ground floor the up escalator was on the right, but from the second floor, the up escalator was on the left. It seems odd that they aren't standardized. Perhaps the contractor for the first floor was from Osaka and the second floor was from Kanto?
WOW...Chicken Skin I just had Panda for Lunch......it's so ono!!!! Love the eggplant & tofu!!!!
I have never been to Tokyo, yet. I am working on my TEFL certification and obtaining a passport. I would like to teach English in Japan when I am able to. I love Japanese kit-kats. I bought some at conventions before.
Great video! I felt bad that you couldn't sit outside and had to change your eating plans. Some people just seemed to be occupying a table by themselves, no food or anything, which seems very inconsiderate to me. I think you did the right thing to stay away from crowded indoor spaces - it's very wise.
We stayed in shinjuku the last 2X we were there (2017 & 2019 spring break) then we just take the train to go to Shibuya.
I keep seeing promotions on Arisu de Boredurandu, did you guys watch that?
Hi, Shinichi. Love your new mask.💀 you should invest in a face bracket (it goes under your mask) so you can talk easier without your mask moving.
Not Winter in Tokyo. Montréal , Canada is already in Winter from the end of November .
Shinichi-san, I wonder if there is a view obstruction that the park planners had to take into account. There are a lot of office buildings surrounding the park, maybe they couldn't "obstruct" their views either.
So funny - my favorite sushi restaurant here by my home is called Midori (what does Midori translate to in English ?)
MIdori means Green. It's also a girl's name so it could be named after someone named Midori.
I really enjoyed watching this vid.
I've been to Japan 4 or 5 times. I'm kind of tired of Tokyo. But my favorite place is Daikanyama. I like Japanese fashion so if I go to Tokyo, I only go clothes shopping. I prefer the more quiet places like Seki. I always take cooking classes when I visit Japan.
We have 2 Starbucks in our local shopping center. One in Target and one in a former bank building.
I personally highly prefer Shibuya over Shinjuku. Might has to do with the fact all of my friends live around Shibuya and I always get lost whenever I have to head to Shinjuku, But all the nights late out drinking, walking, spending time or going to an izakaya were spend around Shibuya. I never get the same, relaxed vibe when I'm walking around Shinjuku but that might be because I've never given it a chance due to getting lost at the first.5 minutes of arriving. I personally love the walk from Harajuku to Shibuya through Yoyogi Park and the surrounding area.
I am also very curious to check out Miyashita Park and the surrounding food 'stalls'. It looks super nice! Weird how it's only been there for such a short time. Mostly I always found it hard to find nice places outside to sit and eat during the warmer weather (I have a 'favourite' spot in Shimokita for it), but this looks really nice as well for the soft autumn days to enjoy some lovely food!
I want to go to Japan so bad planning a trip I am more interested in seeing Shinjuku and Akihabara and Tsukiji Market
Is there a school nearby or university? I see many school kids hanging out in the park.
That's my favorite sushi place, too! Very tasty and so reasonable. It's in the Mark City complex. Shinichi, you need to wear a mask that fits. Adjusting your mask every 5 seconds is distracting.
on the 1:13 mark of the video, the left of the new building (wave looking high rise) go down non bei yokocho to Tight Bar and say hi to the owner Yotsuke and get a gin a tonic or yamazaki 18 yrs on the rocks (or neat) :)
I love Satoshi's bag! I try to avoid Shibuya. Went once to take pictures of Hachiko, and nearly got run over by the crowd.
Everything looks delicious :)
Love your mask
The refresh difference with the camera and the map at 4:13 - 4:46, as often also happens with televisions, monitors and some lights, can be a hazard if you are epileptic or have issues related to photosensitive epilepsy.
Love the mask Shinichi, hi to both of you, stay safe in State of Emergency. We went to Shibuya but didn’t really know what to do. Those temp takers are obviously not accurate when your skin is cold.
Satoshi? Picky?!? No, sir. He simply has refined tastes (that I fully appreciate)!
This reminds me of Pet Shop Boys videos. 👍 ✌️ 💖 🙏 Levent 🦁
Shibuya 😍😊
You are a amazing guy ever I see on youtube
Is anyone like me who count how many times Sinichi was pulling his mask up kkkk
Last time I was in Shibuya, you couldn't get through the scramble crossing without running into someone who stopped to take a scramble crossing selfie.
No, Shibuya is not a priority when I visit Tokyo, unless there is a shop I want to go to or if I want to try Panda Express in Japan lol
just curious when did you film this Satoshi? the 2 girls at around 10:46 belongs a japanese group i follow. talk about coincidence lol.
One of the few things that annoyed me when visiting Japan is the number of people who would sit at a table in a restaurant that provides wifi (like McDonald's or Starbucks) and stay there for an extended period of time. My family and I would squeeze into a small table while the guy next to us working on his laptop was taking up the space of a 4-person table.
Seemed like Satoshi was unhappy, sorry. It happens to a lot of couples! Hope you feel better!
thank you!
Hi Shinichi. I hope you're well. I'm sad due to what happened yesterday. I made a sociasl media post expressing my dismay and a friend of mine said some mean things becaause I try to be a respectful pacifist. He told me to "f*** off!*. I decided to unfriend and block him. I don't like doing that because I am soft-hearted, but I fell like I did the like thing. I like watching your and Satoshi's videos. You both seem so kind and personable.
Hamamatsu gyoza^^ the unagi town in hamamatsu is more famous
I just want to gave my picture taken at Shibuya crossing, because that Would be really Japanese.
Shibuya used to seem more manageable than Shinjuku...
Great video once again. As for the question at 6:15ish: If there's a part of Tokyo I visit more often than others it would be Ikebukuro, especially around Minami-Ikebukuro and Sunshine City.
New place
Whenever we go back to Tokyo, we will always stop in Shibuya because my Husband is a Record Collector and Shibuya has some of the best Record Stores in the world.
