Diaz said a lot of good things here but his point about “levels” cannot be overlooked ... that was so spot on... know your circle..and do your best to keep it tight...
It changes the people around you too. I come from humble origins, and I used to have a lot of friends that I knew since adolescence, but when I started working hard, being smart with my money, and moved to a better neighborhood, my "friends" started to treat me differently. They would try and take advantage of me, and then when when I was talking less to them they said money changed me, and that I forgot where I came from. I ended up cutting ties with them completely. I don't even bother having friends anymore, I'm fine just being with myself.

He can’t even tip his valet drivers! C’mon now. I ran into him in Vegas. They brought his car around, open doors for him and family that was with him.... he got in and left. Valet Driver stood there waiting for a tip. Not even a thanks. I was surprised. That’s not the Andy Ruiz I see when cameras follow him around . “I tipped by the way”.

I was once told, money isn't everything, it just makes the hardships of life easier. When you are raised dealing with those hardships, and never see yourself being a world champion, it takes a strong individual, and a team around you to not let that money get to your head. I don't blame Ruiz Jr for how he handled it. During interviews after he won, you could see it in his eyes, he was still high off the win, more than likely in disbelief of what he just accomplished. Can you imagine the instant fame? Some of us realize tomorrow's not guaranteed. We want to give our kids the world, by our parents and wives nice things. Some people just want a taste prior to getting old and not being able to enjoy it. With that being said, let's see what Andy does next. Hopefully this experience has given him the knowledge he needs to grow from it.

Look, I'm not hating that Andy ruiz is spending his money like crazy. He earned every cent by becoming champion BUT when that money changes you and you abandon the people and philosophy that got you to where you are it's pure stupidity and selfishness. Will Andy be broke in 5 years? Idk but Im pretty sure he won't be champ ever again. And won't get paid the way did when fighting AJ... 20 years from now he will have sold his house, his cars, all his fancy shitand living in a 2 bed room apt in the city he was raised in. Talking about the good ol days when he was a 1 time champ. Dont worry Andy, espns 30 for 30 will be knocking at your shack in a couple years
