    Man, from losing the first fight and being called all sorts of names ( Wilder: ran around) you did not come up with a single excuse and kept your head high and continued towards getting the belts back. Wilder got a taste of the defeat and couldn't take it like a man. Not only have you proved you are a physically skilled fighter but also a superb mental giant to overcome such a battering.

    *Styles make fights! Fury is the best Heavyweight of his generation and arguably the best boxer in the division since Lennox Lewis, HOWEVER, it would be folly to assume that Joshua doesn't have a chance. I don't think he'll beat Fury but I'm not an idiot: This version of Joshua - specifically the one during the Ruiz rematch - is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! Most people go on the back-foot when they don't possess too much power - usually; AJ can now do both! Every fighter has to be mindful of that now. As he could switch from being on the back-foot (despite not having the back-game of Fury, but a back game nevertheless), to marching you down with the right-hand - eventually landing that uppercut from the inside which almost decapitated a competent Klitschko ~ Furthermore, Joshua has a better inside game than Wilder and arguably the better finisher with either hand ~*

      AJ isn’t in any way like that at all. AJ picked Andy because he knew it would be a tough fight for him because he’s a danger when he’s on the inside, Let’s not forget Aj downed this guy in the 3rd round of the first fight, it was going well; and then Ruiz got that lucky shot and just rocked him and AJ couldn’t recover. The rematch AJ changed his style, instead of trading blows on the inside where he’s a danger, AJ used his range, and outboxed him all the way back to Burger King, He’s a top fighter and all he done for the rematch was change his game plan, never about changing ego

      @himode Yes Wilder is ahead now... but my point is AJ isn't a puncher like Wilder.. he's a boxer.. but his KO numbers rival Wilders... within a year.. with a likely loss to Fury and a KO win over Pulev... there percentage will be about par... but my point.. AJ is a boxer.. he has good boxing fundamentals.... while Wilder is a puncher...
      The difference can be seen in their KO wins... AJ is winning the fight.. then KOs his opponents to finish off...
      while a Wilder KO win... Wilder is losing until he lands that big shot to win the fight.... big difference.

    Anthony Joshua finds it so easy to address his shortcomings. That is rare in a sport which requires a high level of loudmouth, brash chest beating bravado (just think Wilder). He simply did what Lennox did to a very tough Tua who dished out KOs and had a frightful left hook. If Lennox went toe to toe with Tua, Tua would have knocked him out. Champions adapt. You gotta love AJ. However I think Fury TKO’s him after a prolonged bamboozling from Fury’s feints and (now) solid jab and body shots. People need to realise that AJ started boxing late and it makes such a difference. There’s a reason why BJS and Fury are so hard to figure out. It’s bred into them from infancy. If AJ knocked out Fury fair play however I’d be surprised. P.s why the hell the Wilder fight cannot be moved aside by paying all involved etc is beyond me. If Pulev shocks AJ - it’s the whole rematch saga again and likewise Fury Wilder. Make the blooming fight pleas and may the best man win.

    • @novemberman1829
      @novemberman1829 4 роки тому

      Fury is a particularly skilled outboxer because aside from the Wilder fight he's shown the ability to wear down opponents with the jab and gain tko victories over multiple opponents including Chisora but I still don't think even after the wilder fight that he's above average as a puncher. Fury is taller than Wilder so he has a longer reach so he could put Wilder on the backfoot where he is very awkward and he had no defense so Wilder was there to be hit. If Fury fights that kronk style AJ can outpunch him his punches are faster, wider variety and better technique they're always controlled. If Tyson Fury fights his usual outboxer style and tries to keep AJ from getting inside then AJ can overwhelm Tyson with his fast jabs which are the weakness of an outboxer, their vulnerability to being overwhelmed by fast punches and this gives an outboxer no time to think and counterpunch. This is why stylistically outboxers struggle against swarmers (Andy Ruiz's style), AJ is a boxer puncher but that style and he in particular still has the speed to overwhelm an outboxer. Tyson has got a big body . There's lot to aim at and AJ's punches are not only fast but very powerful so he can be worn down. His jabs are always correct and are highly efficient he doesn't waste shots. When it comes to inside fighting yes Tyson has great movement but AJ is not just powerful he's fast and always controlled as well as a great combo puncher again this is key because he can overwhelm Fury not allowing him time to slip punches. Key thing with what you said in your third sentence is that AJ will have to fight two mandatory opponents and Fury may have to fight Dillian Whyte who I hear will be mandatory at the latest by February 2021 so the fight could happen in the summer of 2021 if neither lose between then. Due to starting boxing late AJ will improve and become much more fluid.

    You have to give AJ a lot of credit for getting the win here. After losing that badly it took a lot of mental strength to rebuild then execute a plan. I know people wanted a KO but this was a high pressure fight against a very tough guy with an iron chin. He had to be clever. The most I’d say is he could have beaten up Ruiz more but I think it was a great performance overall.

    • @ritchski1
      @ritchski1 4 роки тому

      Arachnid Tv I’m not his biggest fan myself so I don’t disagree with much of that. I dint think he chin is glass as in audley Harrison though, it’s average at best and his recovery is bad. I think wilder could land and KO AJ, sure, I could also see AJ steam rolling Wilder who we know is a one trick pony. I agree Fury beats AJ. I’m just giving credit where it is due in this case, AJ got destroyed, had an immediate rematch and won. To not credit him is not being objective.

    • @ritchski1
      @ritchski1 4 роки тому

      Arachnid Tv that’s a fair argument and I understand why it’s disappointing he didn’t make the rematch more conclusive but the pressure he was under makes me feel he deserves credit. Everything was riding on that win, f he lost he was done. Saying that, my estimation of him went down as well, I didn’t like the way the first fight ended, AJ quit basically, he was beaten down. He is not a pure fighter like Fury. But the kind of pressure he was under for that fight can’t be underestimated, he re built and carried out a game plan, kept his head. It was back foot but he was still landing some decent punches. I get your point of view though, this isn’t 70s boxing is it, where fighters go all out, to hell with losing the 0 and pressure of losing endorsements
