Cement Surfing - Longboarding the Ripon Skatepark

- Not everyone believes that longboards belong in a skatepark, but I believe in surfing the cement and the Ripon Skatepark is one of the best places to do it! This is a prime example of longboarding in a skatepark. There is so much vert, banked turns all over the place, unlimited smooth transitions, and a number of great places to roll in. These things are exactly what you’re looking for when trying to longboard in a skatepark so I get sooo excited every time we come here! We have been to so many skateparks, the AMAZING flow and great vert here makes the Ripon Skatepark one of my favorite skateparks.
Let us know what you think in the comments below!! What kind of videos would you like to see us make in the future?

I didn't know you could skate like this with a longboard! Sick bro!!
Thank you very much! We’ve been hitting a bunch of skateparks around the country, ive been getting better so I’m probably going to have revisit some of these skateparks. The roll in here was soo scary!
Granite Skatepark in Sacramento has tons of bowls like these, it’s worth the drive!
Yes! We’ve been there! That is such a great skatepark, we went a couple years ago before we got a GoPro, guess we’ll have to go back! Lol
Very surprised by the high quality of skateparks in Sac! This Ripon one looks dope! Its near one of my favorite weed store so I’ll forsure have to try this park next time I head down to pickup.
@@michaeltarantino916 we we’re so surprised by the parks in Sacramento too. You’ll love the Ripon park, the lines are endless and tons of smooth transitions
Here’s another good one called tanzanite, I really enjoyed the big bowl here

cara... que sonho de pista.
Sí, este es uno de mis favoritos!
Awesome clip dude! You are wrong about a surf adapter being too wobbly though. Look - most riders will tell you a flex board is no good for park riding. Neither is a longboard. And they could not be more wrong about that! If you use a surf adapter with long enough trailing - no wobbles will occur as long as you keep enough weight on your front foot. Super nice riding - love it!
Thanks! We have more to come! 🤙😎
I use the waterborne, with the rear adapter, also. Which makes its really responsive, but It's actually super stable at speed. I tightened both the trucks down and just let the adapter do the work and it rides straight and true. People at my park look at me funny when I hit the bowl with my carver too cause they think it's too wobbly, and then they see it ride. I guess most people who haven't used a surf skate (some may be more sketchy than others, I've only use WB and carver c7s) think you can't drop in on them.
@@RmfDiz yes, I definitely get some funny looks when I first get in the park with a longboard =)
Man you are so lucky I wish I could be there
I wish you could travel to some of these skateparks with us!!
@@lostcoastlongboarding hey next time your around palm springs or jt you guys should check out the nude bowl it would be somewhere you'd like to park the trailer for a few and hang out its away from everything
@@danielater516 we’ll definitely have to check it out!
I got quite excited about this when I read "Ripon" but im guessing this isnt the Ripon in North Yorkshire 😂
Lol, Ripon California 🤙😎
@@lostcoastlongboarding thats a long ride for me brother 😅
@@ryanparker4996 lol true that, maybe one day!
What size is that board
I actually ride two different boards in this video. One is 40” and the other 42”, both flexy bamboo fiberglass. Here’s a link with some info on the boards:

@@lostcoastlongboarding sweet man I got a 44 which is too long probably but I wanted a kick tail. Doing a 10 by 38 build now
@@scooter825 that’s a nice size 👍
A kick tail can be very helpful, especially for dropping or for any pop tricks.
Sounds like goat simulator music
😆 idk what that is 🐐
Does it not get boring just carving bowls over and over again, idk. I feel like there’s only so much you can do on a longboard
You should see Landyachtz video of cruiser vs longboard. It opened my eyes to how much you can do on a longboard
It really depends on the skatepark. A lot of skateparks are too small with a limited number of bowls and vert, but this skatepark is great! Tons of vert and great smooth transitions everywhere. I see kids do a million kick flips on flat ground all day at the skatepark and that looks boring to me.. I guess everyone has their own style and likes different things 🤙😎
@@jmp-man I’ll have to check it out, I like riding a longboard with no tail, that sometimes limits what I can do
@@lostcoastlongboarding Im the same way. I just like to imagine I’m carving a sick wave lol
The sky is the limit ,I believe. ua-cam.com/users/shortsWlWBqUuYqYo?feature=share
Think of how much fun you could have on an actual skateboard.
Hey do you know who killed Jeff Grosso?
I never got the hang of short boards, I think I started too late and never learned how to Ollie or drop in… so actual skateboards are not that fun for me
