What a great answer to the 'waving' question, I literally laughed out loud when I pictured the Jeep owners flagging down people by waving with two hands!
I have a winch on my fj and it’s never been used even though the car has been where others (not mentioning make/model) needed their winch. Top off-roader.
Hey Ronny and Sean - Nice video, awesome to see this rig! We appreciate the feedback and it was good to read below that adding a winch has sorted the bounce in the front. Sounds like it was originally set up for a heavier winch-bar combo. Keep enjoying the adventure! #nevergoalone
Such a good episode. Not a massive fan of FJ's but I know they are one of the most capable 4wd's out there. I lost it every time you cut to him saying "party"!
Sure would be interested in the before and figures on that GVM up great. Love the FJ’s and that would be the best one I have ever seen. Well done mate.
@@traceygraham9200 got the car over the weigh bridge, 2.9T , I have upgraded the suspension to www.apesuspension.com.au/product/lovells-gas-legend-front-struts/. I have installed Airbags at the back, really happy how the car handles now , very smooth, no sagging 😉
@@mission4x4adventure28 that’s great I was pretty interested as I’ve been worried about my fj as I’ve got a bush company rtt ontop drifta drawers in rear an Engle upright 59ltr fridge and few others I’ve also put new suspension and air bags in the rear as was sagging a bit in rear
I tried to stay with you because I have learned from some of these ‘show and tell’ episodes. The whole time I was watching this episode I kept having memories of an old childhood TV cartoon series flash through my mind, Mighty Mouse! That is what a FJ on steroids reminds me of, Mighty Mouse.
I have an iceberg white FJ too. This build is GOALS! Definitely the best modded FJ I've ever seen. What's funny to me is that I tow a trailer with mine and I bet we get the same mpg after the weight of all his gear. 😅
The logarithm brought me here. I don't understand why fj owners get bad fuel consumption????? After having a family 1 Hz 80 series for 19 years.. 2 years ago l reluctantly down sized to an fj cruiser and went against all my off-roading beliefs. ( mechanical diesel solid axels ect) Did a trip with the strife through the Gascoyne over the Kennedy ranges up to Karratha and back to Perth. 3 week trip. 5400km 3000km off-road. Overall fuel consumption 11.78 per 100 kms for the trip, better than my 1 Hz. I thought that was good fuel consumption???!!!!! ( Am l wrong ????!!!) I think the majority of fj owners have bought the wrong vehicle. Buy a ute for load carrying, not an fj. You have to think like a hiker.
Cycle & Moto My fj already come with Arb Bullbar, winch, ome suspension, dual batterys and 33inch AT. Inside we carry swag for 2 on backseat, on the floor 5x 10 litre sea to summit water bladders, and all our safety equipment. In the back, 35 litre fridge and 4x camp cover boxes full of goodies, very lightweight set up. Around the suburbs l get 12 to 14 litres per hundred. On long trips always just under 12 litres per hundred. On the highway, always drive to speed limit ie, 110kms an hour.
Great intro Ronny: pissing on your boot. This guy was quite a funny bloke, and I enjoyed this episode heaps. He had a good sense of humour, as do you. Would be a better world if everyone could just have a good laugh. Party on !!!!
Like MANY others Id love to know the GVM it’s a worry me thinks for a broken axle or something. Great to meet u Ron at the Perth show last week . Look fwd to the GVM with the half a house inside and outside of this unit. Met this dude and saw this vehicle last year actually but yeah def a BIT over eh lol
Awesome vid ronny 🤙 awesome rig too ! Well done Sean I know sean well and am one of his customers, next time your down in Victoria i have another fj for you too shoot 👍
Love my Fn FJ . Its an absolute blast to drive . Puts a shit eating grin on the wifes face every time she grabs the keys . Test drive one if ya ever get the chance.
Fuel consumption is definitely my biggest issue with my 07fj. I have significantly less gear and and run 400lb springs all around 2.5 lift 33”. If I add any more weight to my light rig I’d have to bump up to 6-800pound springs in the rear. IFS on highway and trails is great for daily driving and camping. I have been totally happy with my FJ across North America. Besides constantly filling up! 🤣 auxiliary tank in the future 100%!
I didn't know the FJ wave was a thing in Australia too. Definitely a thing in America and Mexico. We're like children when we see each other on the road. Sometimes we'll trail each other on the highways just for fun. 😅
Great video . Love the solar panel on the bonnet. If you remember Rohnny the other white fj you did modified episode you suggested exactly that when looking at the blacked out vinyl on his also named Sean bonnet . By the way my names Sean must be an fj thing .
I thought about that mate , I actually installed the winch after the video shoot and feels better now 😉 Check out my Instagram @mission4x4 it actually looks sick now haha
Good call was thinking the same . He has a light front bar no winch but everything but the kitchen sink hanging off the back no wonder the front bounces .
Great setup and each to their own. But I saw one of these on the Steep Point road corrugations with it’s gearbox hanging out. Hey Ronny, you need to increase your PSI (Piss Stream Intensity)
Awesome video guys. Really good to see some guys having a laugh. What hot water system do you have and have you got some more info on installation etc? Cheers
This guy is a champion, and what an awesome well thought out rig even though it's about 200kg over gvm
Das corek
one of the best MODIFIED episodes Ronny......
That guy is the happiest guy ever... Whaatever he stuffed in his pocket was I want some. Great video and well kitted up 4wd.
This bloke is a classic. Ronny is really hitting his stride with these modifieds last few have been super entertaining.
the 1 thing i got from video was when he said "party" and the disco effect Ronny added. 🤣😅. seriously, great video dude!
Let's meme it
What a great answer to the 'waving' question, I literally laughed out loud when I pictured the Jeep owners flagging down people by waving with two hands!
Ronny must only be runnin a 1 inch kit, not enough travel to make it past his boots. 😂
Big truck, little wee wee. He fits the stereotypical description😂😂😂
love the dynamic between the two of you, what an excellent video! Bring this dude back. Cheers guys
Tell Brian hi and he's a legend for posting all my Gear!
Will do mate

Best ever modified yet! Ronny you need to get Sean on your show A LOT more. Such an awesome sense of humour.
Thanks Alex, I really appreciate it 🙏
@@mission4x4adventure28 hey mate, what brand/model is the fridge slide and drawers that u keep your gas cooker in underneath? Great rig by the way.
one of the best rear vehicle kitchen setups ive seen. Maybe that says more about me than anything else, but im impressed. Nice one!! 10/10
Sean is a very nice guy apparently a big joker, very nice and heavy Fj. Very well arranged, a big work, a big bravo for Sean.
This guy....this is the type of guy we all need when we camp..gonna be lots of fun together
Thanks mate
Sorry mate I literally just saw this, let me know when u ready for a trip I’m happy to join 😉, party 🎉 lights all night 🤣
Love the FJ. Had mine from 2011, over 200,000km on the clock .... she's a keeper :)

That storage, fridge, cooker setup is brilliant. What an excellent layout.
That awning is amazing.
I love watching Aussie videos with closed captions. It translated "Jerry cans" to "joke hands".
This thing looks heavy!!!!
was thinking that too, top heavy aswell.
If Toyota sold the FJ Cruiser worldwide with a diesel option, it could been a huge hit on sells.
If the FJ came with a turbo diesel id already own one!
They’d go ballistic!
If the Fj Cruiser came with a diesel then it would be designated to Bj Cruiser.
@@ozminuteman if it come with a diesel, and in a van configuration for tax reasons, it would sale great.
Tonnes of them here in the UAE. I don’t have one but they seem to be the default desert machines!
Being in a modified episode with Ronny and a 4XO sticker on his FJ? I like this guy.
Can't beat a white FJ... great episode fellas. 👍👏🍻
really well thought out 4x4 , best I have seen. Hot water system is leaking also.... Plumbers don't miss that

Haha yeah I fucked up on that one 😂😂😂 but I’m not really great in front of the camera , lucky I didn’t say electric wire 😂😂
😂
Yea the videos really awkward ay
My first thought was: OVERWEIGHT!! But it is an amazing setup, well done, and with lots of love.
Always take a look at this rig whenever I drop into quick pitch, good to have an in-depth look at it 👍
When do ya reckon ya next video will come out i cant with
Must be the heaviest FJ on modified, must be touching 3T, good banter really enjoyed.
She is heavy mate 2964kg

Attention to detail. Very neat set up👌

This video made my day, great rig and super funny!
That 4.0L V6 is nearly unstoppable. Toyota has been putting the 1GRFE engine in the 4Runner for the past 20 years.
Wow! What an AMAZING build. Lots of thought and work has gone into this Rig! Greetings From South Africa.

That almost spot on to the mileage I get. I do wish it had a larger tank...
I think an FJ encourages a certain driving style that isn't always conducive with good fuel consumption haha
I get around 17lt per 100 towing in my FJ. I’m also wondering how some get such economy. Our FJ has always been good on fuel.
@@OutbackTouring I would be very interested to know how a kitted up FJ could get under 12L per 100km

I describe my FJ as a Jeep that’s grown up, and can actually carry stuff. It’s the Brown Burro.
The added weight of the winch up front might be the nest way to take the bounce and the stiffness out of the front suspension
