I don’t think a lot of people know how powerful Motion is. It can do everything After Effects can do, except for multiple point camera tracking and the 3D map layer thing. It would be really cool if you could show a lot of compositing tutorials that most people think can only be done in AE, but can easily be done in Motion. 💪🏾💥
Agreed. If you are able to show how powerful Motion is that would be a game changer for a lot of people. You pay $50 one time versus the monthly subscription
This is one thing that I missed many years ago because I jumped into After Effects since forever (and too soon maybe). There it would either be the very slow After Effects default zoom/radial blur (almost the same as the Photoshop one), then the Trapcode Shine plugin appeared and then the CC Suite plugins that were made part of it (which contains a suite of fast blurs). Motion has always been very optimized on anything it tries to do. And now enter 2021, the new object trackers, creators like yourself that democratize and share the knowledge, the new machines just recently released… what an exciting year to be honest. Amazing tutorial sir.
Hey bro! Could you please make a tutorial on how to create the map zoom effect and day to night effect from andreas hem? I would love you my entire life.
Pretty awesome. Just a minor suggestion, in the next video, can you show the final before and after result in full screen at the end as well? Great job as usual! Thank you.
Wielkie dzięki, widzę jak dużo serca wkładasz w każdy materiał. P.S. Piszę w ojczystym żebyś wiedział że oglądają cię ludzie z różnych miejsc na świecie ;)
Pretty much just comes from recent projects I worked on and I needed certain effects haha! This one was one I needed a while back, and realized how fun of an effect it was. Appreciate you watching!
Great video. Outstanding. Also, I should mention I used the Envato Elements link you provided but the price was $16.50 per month annualized, which is the same as offered to the general public. How do I get the 50% off? What am I missing?
Hey Roger! Thanks for the encouragement. Sometimes they run the same deal for the generalized public at that same 50% off rate. So unfortunately $16.50 per month (when payed annually) is where it's at. Still an astounding deal for all that they offer! But I do apologize for the confusion!
off topic question regarding motion: the app store only has "motion" and not "motion 5". Is it reasonable to assume the current version of motion available in the app store is motion 5? thanks
Yes. Apple only offers the latest version that your device is capable of. Also as long as you buy the legit version (compared to bootlegged etc) you'll be able to upgrade to the latest version when you get a compatible device
Unfortunately, because Final Cut Pro doesn’t allow you to link effect parameters to tracking data, this is only currently possible within Motion. You could however create the light ray effect and manually track it within Final Cut Pro and achieve a similar effect. But there is no automated way to do this as of now. Thanks for watching!

I think this object tracker is going to put motion a whole new level! Definitely looking forward to some updates from Apple!
That is pretty genius.
Another thing I'll use in my project...
As ever, so many great tips in just a few minutes. Very many thanks Dylan. Scotland loves you!

Awesome & Thanks :)
Very helpful and very well explained. Thank you so much!
Amazing great tutorial, where do you get your ideas? From playing around in Motion?
Pretty much just comes from recent projects I worked on and I needed certain effects haha! This one was one I needed a while back, and realized how fun of an effect it was. Appreciate you watching!
Outstanding tutorial! I was just trying to develop this on my own.
Genial amigo!!! una pregunta... tienes algún curso completo de Motion... se nota que sabes muchísimo sobre el programa.
Brillant ! we need more advanced tutorials ;)

@@TheFinalCutBro Thanks for the quick reply. All that not withstanding, I do enjoy and learn from your videos. Thanks for what you do!

WOW! You are a genius. Do you have the option to turn this plugin into a Final Cut?
Unfortunately, because Final Cut Pro doesn’t allow you to link effect parameters to tracking data, this is only currently possible within Motion.

@@TheFinalCutBro yes I create this effect as a template in final cut it works beautiful but of course without tracking. Thank you very much
Waaaaaaaaay to complicated for the likes of me, sadly.
