Hey Booray, third party lenses have certainly improved. Knowing that shooting wide at F/1.4 may cause Colour frindging and Vinietting, I would avoid shooting close up. Hopefully it performs better at larger Apertures. But at $279 that's a good trade off. Everything else in this Viltrox lens looks like it's great. Thanks Booray. 😊📸

I have two sigma lenses that I am very happy with. In both cases, I actually sold the equivalent Fuji lens and bought the Sigma version because the Fuji version was too heavy for my application. The Sigma lenses are much lighter, yet very well-built, using a proprietary material.

I have Viltrox 13,33, & 75 primes. I use the 33 a lot for car shows and works great. I have mixed feelings on shooting at 1.4 on my XH2 for eye af. I am going to be ordering the 27mm 1.2 in a couple weeks as I need a wider lens I can trust the AF better.

Hey Booray, just wanted to ask if you have managed to get hold of your X100vi yet? Looking forward to seeing all the new videos on it, setup, accessories and everything else you come up with.

I'm still on the waiting list and I have no idea when I'm finally going to get it.

How does it compare to the Canon 32mm f1.4 efm?

Love your channel. However, I try to buy Fuji as much as possible. Resale value can pay for a good chunk of my funeral. That being said, the 30mm F2.8 macro offers a LOT more that this 33mm IMHO.
Which would you chose in the 30mm range?

I'm always gonna choose the Fuji lens if I can afford it and justify the expense. :)
