The Viltrox 75mm is an amazing portrait lens.

I'd love for viltrox to make MFT lenses but it seems like everyone is focused on outdoor lenses (astro, macro, and wildlife). I say that as an outdoor person. I want glass for other genres because I'm getting people who want me to do events based off my stuff on IG.

I absolutely LOVE all my Viltrox lenses and use them on my Z5 constantly. Hopefully they release a zoom lens soon. I currently use the Viltrox 24mm f1.8, the 35mm f1.8, and the 85mm f1.8!

Right after I bought the ZF I passed on the plastic Nikon 28mm with the plastic lens mount and bought the 28mm Viltrox. I have several different Viltrox lens for my Fujifilm and they work great.

by far, this is the most interesting review for this lens, made me to consider this lens more. I currently using Z5 & 28mm AFS 1.8. do you have any comparison viceo regarding those 2 lens?

Looks HUGE! Specially on that kind of camera. For that kind of camera I would want to use anything bigger than Nikon 40mm 2.0 or voitlander 40mm 1.2. I almost have enough saved to get that camera, looking forward to using it.

I was thinking the same thing it’s large compared to the Nikon 28mm f2

Of course, it's a little big on the Zf but ok on other Nikon cameras with grips. Don't forget that both Nikon SE lenses, 40mm f2 and 28mm f2.8 are plastic, both are slower (aperture) and the closest thing you get to this in Nikon is 24mm f1.8, which cost over three times this money. Even the older 28mm f1.8 from DSLR time costs double this lens. It is unique in its class at present as Nikon doesn't have anything close, nor other manufacturers for mirrorless cameras, all require adaptors to work.

@@sdhute Nikon's version is f2.8. This is way faster in aperture terms. Yes, it's double the length and slightly heavier because of its full metal construction. Something that both Nikon SE lenses aren't (full plastic, including the mount!)

I have ignored anything viltrox for quite a while. They seem to be creeping into a sigma or tamron position as time goes on. I recently purchased the Nikon 28mm 2.8 for my ZF and if i knew this lens existed i probably would have still purchased the nikon since it is smaller, lighter and matches the ZF aesthetic more. I would have liked a quick comparison of the two, but i have been happy with the performance of the Nikon, but tow thirds of a stop can merit a consideration.

Disappointed. You have 1.8 lens, but show daylight images which even a f4 or a cellphone can get with no problems?
Show why anybody should buy a FF body and an FF lens, instead of being satisfied just by their iPhones.
