Yes, the sub bass is incredibly clear and powerful, but only with proper amplification. If you plug it on a weaker output, almost all the bass goes out.
@@Breaky717 Hey bro I’m a beginner what portable amp do you recommend me to use for the 80 ohm DT770 PRO Beyerdynamic?? Also I ordered 7hz Zero IEMS so if you can maybe recommend an amp that would cover those as well so I don’t have to buy two separate amps please !
Agreed. I like 770 because of the extended but claer bass and nice high. Indeed it has quite a lot of bass than other studio headphone like hd600, 650 etc. I don't know why he said that.
ordered the 770 dude, thanks for you'r feedback! The 770 sounds like for more general use as i understand. since i searched for PC headphone.the 990 is open, so i just drop it right away. and those 250ohm ohh gosh.. 770. 80ohm is my pick! i hope i will survive with them lot of time, cause i was with the gaming G933 8 years!! they fully dead. but they was really nice pair. but i think not for the money. the wierelss feature was nice. but the sound is more important! a good one for sure! so hope the 770 will satisfy me! bought the same today and immediately what I noticed is a very strong bass lack of soundproofing when I speak or move my head I hear creaking no isolation i can hear everything someone says in other room did i get fake beyerdynamic?
👍 no offense, but I would have liked to be informed of the 16 or 32 ohms versions. I have a astell & kern norma , and would like to find a version, that works alright without any other material.... for soft jazz and west-cost-music...any answer ? I actually use my 250ohm pair that I just got with my Note9 with no dac amp anything just right off the jack. they're fantastic for listening to shows/videos/etc, music ehh not so much its pretty quiet for that. They sound great for everything, they put my old HyperX Cloud 2s to shame in every way but build quality. The DTs are still better build quality, but only by a bit.
I purchased a Sony ZSRS60BT AM/FM Radio/CD Player last Summer but I can’t find out what wattage it is. But I’ve noticed that whenever I have My Skullcandy Over the Ear headphones on and I’m listening to the FM Radio the music is very loud. But the second I pop in a CD the music is so low that I can hear people talking that are in the room with Me. So I was told about these headphones and that they will work with these headphones. But My question is : Do I need to purchase an amplifier in order to use these headphones????
i had the 250ohms since 2014 and they withstood alot of abuse. they borke about a month ago, and im gonna get the 80ohms for christmas this year. have never used any other headphones that could compare to the sound, comfortabilty and build quality. only thing i miss that i cant find today is dt 770's with a twirled cable, which was really nice with my older ones.
I have a question do these headphones already have a 3D sound like for example so I can hear enemies behind and realize it bc the sound ich comming from behind or from the side so I can hear if he is left or right yk????
@@beebread._.m8 I don't know if he even wants that answer since 7.1 and 9.1 surround sounds god awful for pretty much everything. Hey sir I purchased the 80 ohms version before watching this video so now I’m stuck with low volume through my ps5 controller as well as through an Apple dongle, what portable amp would you recommend for me to be able to use at higher volume with my ps5 and iPhone 12 Pro Max ?
the dt990pro hurts my ears, i had the corsair void pros before and they never hurt my ears, what studio headphones should i get ? i think its eitherthe angle of the 990 since they are open ear or my ears are just big
My personal preference is 80ohms with amp. I'd buy the 32ohms if perhaps I was just using them with my mobile phone or connecting them directly to my gaming console wireless controller.
On the 80 ohm version, the sub bass will be 5-7 dB quieter, and the treble above 7 kHz is 1 dB quieter than on the 250 ohm version. Consider this when buying. I bought an 80 ohm version and there is less sub bass than I would like. This is good for mixing music, but bad for listening.
@@Shelby14648 And for mixing purpose you'll need an DT770 250 ohm... and an powerful amplifier!!!! If you don't have that then just go for the DT770 32 ohm... then you can directly plug in the headset into every device laptop, phone, tablet and more... without having to use an Amplifier or Interface or dac.
Great review! I’ve just got one a couple of days ago and planning of buying an amp under $100 dollars for it. Would a FiiO K3 work well the DT 700 Pro 80?
Salut, super vidéo, dis moi j'ai le DT 770 pro 80 ohm, et je trouve le son très très très faible, dis moi tu sais si il y'a une technique pour augmenter celui ci ? Une carte son ? Un logiciel ? Merci à toi
Does your amp supply enough power? This comment is old so you probably already found the answer, but in case you didn’t, you need a sufficient amplifier. Have a great day!
It depends on your sound card, try to do some research and im sure you will find the answer. For me with 32ohm no-name headphones (still they sound very good to me) i need to raise volume relatively high to hear everything well. I have integrated realtek, Realtek ALC892, my mobo is msi b350 pc mate. It will be worse for higher ohm, i mean quieter.
Not sure what source you tested these on but others have said these have incredible bass and sub-bass extension...
for me they have a good amount of bass
He has the lower ohm ones too, which as far as I've heard have more bass, and my 250ohm set have a decent amount of bass, and are SUPER eq friendly.
