You know I had to make notes so I could give you my usual long list response :D.
Thank you for being in the places, showing us the things. People like me can't go, but we love that you go for us!
-Bias Ruler, Triangle Tool, Binding Tool - I need that bias ruler and that binding tool. I have a similar triangle tool and I barely use that one.
-Koala Cabinets - Ok, love a good cabinet, but not yet.
-Janome - I so need to save up for a M17! That hoop!!
-Quilt on a chair - Such a sad, but sweet, story. It looks interesting, but I really don't love folding chairs.
- Kai Scissors - I really need to get a pair of those.
-Cutterpillar - I really need them to hurry up with that expanding mat. That thing will replace all of my mats! The Swivel, Need it! The clamp light, what!!?
-4th & Main - I am a sucker for a pattern! I want All of the patterns!
-Penless - That is so cool.
-Purely Gates - Now I need to save for an embroidery machine. Those tea cups and calla lilies make me want one now!
-Oliso - I'm going to have to break down and get one. The breakage rate I have heard about scares me with those. That steam though!
-Breakwater Fabric - Love the Singers!
-Handi Quilter - You will get it!! Just one more thing I need to save for. I need my own house so I don't have to move them once I get these things.
-Orange Dot Quilts - All the Patterns!!
-Ez Piecing - Now this makes me want to FPP!!
-Laura Star - Awesome but Expensive!
-Carolina Moore - That glowing Ruler!!
-French General - I love French General! I am not, however, going to be hand embroidering anything lol. Nope! Tried it, didn't love it.
- Swan Amity Studios - She has some awesome patterns!
-Applipops - That was cool, but applique....pass for now.
-Sweet Pea Embroidery Designs - As long as it isn't by hand. I still need to save up for a machine.
-Lamb Farm Designs - I think I first saw them on Sew Yeah. They have some awesome patterns!
-Kena Quilts - Beautiful!! The Platters would make and Awesome 3-Yard Quilt! I need the kit for that Get Out Of Town! My son loves RED! Her choices are whole Vibe alone. So awesome. I usually don't go for African Fabrics, but she makes you want to buy and use them.
-Convention Raider Bag - Fierce Kitten Studio did that! It's a shame I just want to make all of things. Can't wear it, but I want to make it lol.
-Thimbles for you - Those were so cool! I'd lose them in my sewing room. That chatelaine she had on her neck was so Beautiful!
-Connecting Threads - I feel like they are the hidden gem. They have some awesome designs and the thread is so affordable.
-The Batty Lady - I want to try that bamboo batting. Without batting, where would we be? Cold!
-Quilters Select - I recently purchased a few of these. Love them!! They are, truly, a game changer.
-GE Designs - Love Gudrun. That ruler is its own vibe. The curated sets they have a great too.
-Fast Turn - What!!? I think I need to look into that. No idea what I would make, but I'll figure it out lol.

Thanks for such a great video! I was actually perusing Paducah videos and yours came up. NOW I want to go to Road to California! You've shown such interesting projects and I've taken lots of notes!! It was good to hear that you like your M7. I bought mine after an exhaustive search and trying to decide between a larger machine or a Moxie. The dealer pointed me to the M7 but my experience has NOT been a good one. I've been super disappointed and rarely use it. Your enthusiasm for it is encouraging me to give it another try so thank you!

I briefly saw those circle things and now I regret not getting a set while I was there haha. I felt 2 hours in the show room was not enough! I'm glad you recorded some of these so I can order later.

I’m confined to a wheelchair. This bag looks so wheelchair friendly! No bag flopping around getting rubbed with wheels hanging down. It stays in place, making it easy to access!

Well this was an exciting video for me. I have been watching Scott from 4th and Main Designs drive to and from California for this show on social media all week. He is a local designer who I have taken numerous classes from and purchased 2 sewing machines from. It is so exciting where his designing career has taken him. So glad you showcased him on your video. I really love when you video these shows that are too far away for some of us to attend. Thanks for making it feel like we are there with you!!!!!!

Kena's quilts are amazing
I agree that bias binding is much better. I find it’s FAR easier to do the hand stitching (a process I love) and the corners are MUCH easier to fold into a nice mitre. I have that bias ruler and I like it-but I need to put some “stick-ums” on it because I find it does slide around while you’re trying to cut.
I sprayed mine with that ruler spray & I don't have any problems anymore. You just made me want to try binding on the bias for funzies

Just went to the EZ piecing web site and ordered the star sampler pattern. I’m so excited to try this method of foundation piecing. I’ve done it with paper and the ripping out the papers is a pain. Thank you for stopping by her booth😄. And you are so right about the Batty Lady, she’s a member of the quilt I belong to and we love her.

I have replaced all my rulers with Quilters Select! Love how precise the markings are and how they do not slip!

I'm so happy you got a chance to go. Don't worry the mat does not come out for another month or so. I think it will be released in March I'll be letting everyone know for sure so stay tuned.

I have a Horn of America sewing table - cost me a paycheck but worth every penny! the flaps on mine are on the end, not the back which is easier for me, I keep one up and close when when I am using my quilting machine - allows more room to get around. Also note that if you get an acrylic square, you can take out the machine, sit a small lamp underneath and wa-la - you have a light box! I also use weights to hold my rulers in place, I use the cheapo suction cup "handles" from Harbor Freight to hold on to the rulers!

@@MACoutureCrafting I have a wall FULL of rulers - you name the size - I have it!! If you have not gotten a Martelli rotary cutter, they are amazing - I remember when their sons would do the shows - they were handsome fellas and boy did they sell stuff!!
@@jimbo0715 I have the Martelli cutters. They are still at all the shows going strong.
I use QS Rulers because they are designed for left-handed people first and right handed people second! Their accuracy is fantastic.

I agree with you that Quilter’s Select rulers are the best. The ruler becomes totally non-slip with minimal pressure. Thank you for walking us through the show and some of the shops. It’s fun to “be” with you there!😊

I don’t have a quilters select ruler yet, but my favorite are the Martelli rulers those are truly nonslip you just can’t see through them
Sweet pea embroidery designs are awesome. They stitch out wonderfully. Lots of in-the-hoop designs, and the do monthly stitch slings.

I'm so sad I didn't make it to Road 2 1:05:46 CA. Maybe it's just as well. I Saved a Bundle. Great show. Can't wait to pick up a few things. I can only think how stunning a bag would be when you 2 pull a kit together for all your Quilty BFFs.

I bought the fast turn system years ago at Sew Expo in Puyallup, WA. It's been a great investment. I love using it for making straps for dresses.

I loved this video. Just subscribed! For the broke crafters that use rulers to cut fabric I use a shower suction thing from Amazon. 2 for $8 and I got a set of small circle suctions 2 for $5. Not knocking this guys company hes just doing his job. But its always great when you can save a few bucks here and there.

OMG, love your channel! FYI i was looking at the Janome 9480. The ASR was extra. The sales person said, would you kke to see the copy Elna 782. It comes with the ASR.,price was $2,000 less than the 9480. I am a JanomemGirl, and the Elna is made by Janome. Difference is the color on the front. Elna is red, Janome is black.,LOVE THIS ARS.
Nice. I should have filmed the Elna's too. You are right they are the same.
Those acrylic inserts on the sewing desk are great if you have a top loading bobbin. If your bobbin loads on the front (Bernina), It is a pain to take that insert off frequently.
