Katia, thank you so much for doing this video series as well as the others you have done on inking papers and polymer clay. I look forward to your wire wrapping video. You are the best and I do appreciate everything you share with us. Always so much fun to watch your videos.
Wish I could thumbs up this video a dozen more times, because this is such a well put together video. Thank you again so very much Katia. Take care and God bless. Becky B
You explain everything so well. Thank you! I’m new to album making and you always have such great tips. I especially like the dragonfly closure. Cool l idea. Tfs!
You have such very different techniques than I have seen before and I am intrigued. I want to make an album for sure. But I really love the dragon fly closure and wrapped wire. Do you have, or could you do, a tutorial on how to do that? All your work is just stunning.
Hello again Katia, so looking forward to this series. Perfect instructions young lady. You bring me joy. Take care and God bless you and yours. Hug the kitties for me. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
Katia, thank you very much for creating this video series ;-) In the meantime, almost all parts have been published and I have collected a few notes that I cannot think of a more sensible storage location than here. ...............Note for me/Eine Notiz für mich: A-Teile und D-Teile werden sowohl für Version 1 wie auch 2 hin und wieder mal geteilt/nachträglich umgewandelt/geschnitten. ...... .
You make it so much easier by cutting all at once, then scoring. It is so nice not to have to switch tools every minute. I am extremely grateful you shared this for free as I am on an extremely tight budget. Is there anything you need or would like that I may possibly have in my stash? Any media for your new adventures in mixed media? I would love to send you something! Best wishes!!!
Personally, I find 110 pound cardstock is prone to cracking when it's scored, but you can give it a try. There aren't very many layers in these page designs so it might work. With my more elaborate page designs that have multiple layers, it definitely would be way to thick.
Something you can do with cardstock that cracks is take a damp (not wet) cloth and run it across the area you are going to score. It will loosen the fibers and help prevent them from cracking. Be careful you don't overdo the dampness and go easy on scoring. I usually gently ease the paper fold ;
Ooooops! Anyhow, I create the actual fold in several steps not folding the scored line all at once. This will usually relax the fibers enough so the paper doesn't crack. I hope this helps.
great tutorial Katia! So kind of you to share all this work for free. Thank you

Yes, I prefer the assembly line style of crafting.
I find it makes it so much faster and easier.
And...you're very welcome for the free tutorials!
I have never seen ty vac, where do you find it? I use book binding tape.
It's an amazing material! I sell the envelopes in my Etsy shop!
Can we use 110lb cardstock instead of 80lb ?
