Nice cutoff option to stop a roof then make another new one on the top and lock it to the same cutoff level …. But …
The issue is the difference in thickness ! That requires that you calculate how much you have to compensate and make the new roof matching the same thickness like the old one, otherwise it would always look wrong in section
