    Why cant I join the 2 objects, the central object with diagonal cut on one side and the bigger cylinder? I am having an error saying 'Can't keep elements joined'

      I’m not too sure about that, I’d have to take a look. Email me at neuroscience@sigmund.science. If you can include the family file, that’ll be best. It’s possible that the diagonal piece isn’t going far enough into the cylinder. It has to go all the way in with no corners out of the cylinder

    is it mechanical Revit or str. Revit ?

      It’s standard Revit which is a combination of all Revits in one software. But this can be done in any version of Revit

    `that trim and extend corner function doesn work here. at 6min. how do you do that

      which is better to create mechanical pieces in 3D, Revit or AutoCad?
      I want to focus on studying one of the two programs but I am in doubt if Revid can do everything Autocad does.
