We spend millions of dollars installing bike lanes yet give out drivers licenses like candy to people who don’t know how to park. We need to set our priorities straight instead of using tax payer money to line the pockets of our buddies.
I think 2-4 years of schooling would suffice. It would weed out so many knuckle heads going into the academy. You’d get an entirely different pool of recruits. The 6 months of training they do now is a joke, my brother went through the academy.

Yes, cops should memorize every single ordinance and statute in existence and have that information available at all times. They should also have to pass the bar exam and know every case law ever.
