I have a Time Master that suddenly has begun to throw one of the springs related to the self propel cable- I think the generic one size fits all Toro parts approach is what got me-- NEVER had this problem with the original cable. but- - THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU!! I could not have fixed it without your video! If you ever get to Kent, Ohio the drinks are on me!!
MANY THANKS for the video on the fix ! My cable broke yesterday and after watching your video I was able to remove the broken cable in about 5 minutes time :)! The mower probably would of been in the shop for 2 weeks before they could even look at it.Thanks again for a Perfect video
It would be nice if you would explain that you need a zip tie to keep that cable from hitting the pulley once you stick it through the hole that's what I had to do. Otherwise great video thank you very much you save me a ton of work and time
Ive had my timemaster for about 4 or 5 months and the first week the shut off switch broke off and I also had to take it back in because something was wrong with the carburetor and was bogging down really bad and I thought it would be under warranty but they charged me 50 buck ti fix the problem and now it runs better then when I first got it. In my mind Ive had alot of stuff go wrong with the mower for how new it is but hey what you gonna do lol.
Stan Serna you do have to be careful not to run into anything especially the sides of the mower. Those plastic parts do brake pretty easy. I do think the upgrades they have made make the timemaster much better. I am on my 3rd timemaster, it is the best wide area push mower on the market for bagging, mulching, and bagging. Are you running a business or just using it at home?
I haven't watched yet but I'm wondering what the initial symptoms were? My mower has no speed control. When I walk into it, It takes off full speed and will continue even though I'm holding it back
This was the best drive cable replacement video I watched for the Timemaster. Thank you!
Your very welcome! I have more timemaster repair videos. Subscribe to see the new ones I put out.

When tipping mower onto its side you always want the carb facing up. On a Timemaster the trans should be topside, chute in the ground.
Used your video 5x so far. The new model timemaster is 21199. Make sure you order the correct cable. The 20199 cable is too short by 4". great vid!
That’s awesome! I am so glad it has helped out!
Very nice job of explaining, unlike another two i watched LOL
slowlygoingfaster that was my frustration too. That is why I made this video. I’m glad it was helpful.

Stan Serna you’re very welcome! I’m glad it was helpful. How long have you had your timemaster?

Just got one used today, self propel works great once its moving but doesnt move from a stop. What do you think that is?
What's the part number of the cable?
Honestly I have no idea. Best way to find that out would be to contact your closest Toro dealer.

Did you tighten the cable on the personal pace? If you did you may have tightened it too much.
