You are getting better at understanding what the customers of Y Combinator podcasts really wants! Detailed stories and insights from great entrepreneurs that acts as a substitute for experience. A lot of knowledge is locked into peoples heads, and these people are often too busy executing. Even if not all are relevant to your specific situation it still enhances your thinking.

That was very good and inspiring. I really like the extremization of "fake until you make it", by building landing pages and see what the response is before to embark in a new venture.

On the MBA discussion around 14:00 and how it is for "rich people" only - there is some truth to that but remember that most companies have a "tuition reimbursement" program. I had my grad school degree entirely sponsored by my employer and I am not rich so just something to think about for those who are looking into grad school.

Ryan is giving me Tyrion Lannister vibes hehe. Anyway, good content! Very interested in the fact that he spent time in Nigeria and wonder if he would ever consider doing business there. Exporting in Nigeria can be detrimentally painful due to inefficiencies at the ports.

Another one! Good job Craig. FYI time stamps in description aren’t links for me for some reason.

Apple makes Culture-scaling look easy. The book 'sapiens' teaches that stories create networks. If you can communicate a clear vision / a clear 'why', the culture fever can spread like wildfire.. I think a key part of the equation is having a leader that can convince you that she/he truly believes in that vision.

Very interesting points. You can only move as quickly as your weakest links and your vendors in the terms of air handlers, ocean carriers, airlines, and truckers. These industries are the banner for inefficiency. The extent of software can only do so much to fix these industries. It's very interesting to see what options you have to fix.

    Right in time!
I'm going forward with my logistics startup and I'm in SUS 2018 now.
And I'm still thinking that I can change this ugly freight forwarders world with a technology.
    Thanks!

even after explaining i still dont fully understand what flexport does, i.e. its a poor explanation.
do they ship themselves and run operations, own inventory (trucks)? or are they a SaaS subscription company? how do they get their revenue?

10:40 come on now ryan. jeff isn't dumb. theres a reason he doesnt care about the vendors even though vendors are a key source of revenue. he thinks he can take over their market and replace them with amazon's own products duh.
