      @Ucallit 71 I am sorry, but what i haνe just experienced is.. many accusations, and surprisingly no proof to back them up. Is he a drunk? Seνeral times he was caught being intoxicated, indeed. But then again, the greatest majority of celebrities, and artists in general, are under the influence of substances or alcohol, not constantly, of course, but quite often. Nine Hells, eνe my faνorite actor, Antony Hopkins, was an alcoholic! Does that make the wicked?! Of course not, no matter how much some people insist upon that. Is he toxic? How one reaches that conclusion, if they do not personally know someone?

    • @vardellsfolly5200
      @vardellsfolly5200 4 роки тому

      @Ucallit 71
      Again, being addicted to substances is not, and it neνer will be, a sign of a man's or a woman's quality. George Carlin was both an alcoholic and a drug addict. But he was also kind, decent, modest, goodhearted and worthy of respect. And hating the publicity in neither a good or a bad characteristic. Losing your anonymity and haνιng countless yahoos chasing you eνery day, causing you problems and grief is a nightmare. Now. Is he weird? All true artists are. Actually, from my experience, artists are eccentric, peculiar, and bizarre. But psychotic? Why? Asshole? Again, why? He neνer sought fame. He desired art. Sir Alec Guinness despised fame. People worshiping him as a god. All true artists do not desire popularity, but perfecting their art.

    • @ComradePhoenix
      @ComradePhoenix 2 роки тому +1

      It really only appears casual. Sometimes, a response to recalling a traumatic event is the stereotypical "THEY'RE IN THE TREES!" thing. Other times, its just breaking down in tears (like we saw in Family) or lashing out in anger (like we saw in First Contact). Still other times, its disconnected-ness.

      The seeming confusion points to our "not yet realized" , not yet experienced hypothetical future...What would YOU do if any food, any material thing, any experience (in a holo-deck), whatever you desire...is instantly available to you? Would you eat yourself to death?, fill up spaces with things you perceive as valuable?....an interesting thought for sure, how would we all react? We see many examples of this with hyper-rich individuals & their bizarre behaviour & acquisitions...many unable to shake off millennia of particular instincts.

    "Lunch with Patrick Stewart"
    Now there's a talk show I wouldn't miss for the world.
    A perfect British lunch:
    Patrick Stewart, Sean Connery and someone else I got stuck at the tip of my tongue.
    Kind of an exclusive club to get onto no doubt.

      They're Galaxy class shuttles. Voyager has cheap rough Intrepid class shuttles.

      If i recall my star trek lore correctly, the shuttle on Voyager were faster, and had phasers at least.

      They don't have one.
      Essentially, the shuttle's teleporter teleports the sh1t from their anal cavity and transports it out to space 😀

    ive heard that a lot of fans want jj to do the same origin story style film with tng if this one is successful. i think a new trilogy of tos movies is inevitable, and after that the producers will be too exhausted and wont wanna tackle tng, but im sure someone else will get the idea. i just hope its not an idiot

    @darlordthecynic I agree with you...The story was so engrossingly told by Picard that I quite believed that the whole accident had actually happened to a young galactic star field officer. Then I remembered it's only 2011. =.=" Forever alone.. (P.S. Never quite got the gross gay undertones either. )

    Yes, in the future, not much in sandwich technology has changed. Basic design remains the same. In this case an advanced diagonal cut was chosen. Looks like egg sandwich. I wonder if they actually used a replicator for the sandwich? I mean it's so simple to make.

    I have absolutely no f***ing idea what you are talking about when you say "seductive". The man's eating a sandwich, for heaven's sake! Nothing special about that!
    I have to say, though, that I had totally forgotten what an absolutely outstanding actor Patrick Steward is.

    No, that episode you're talking about is after Wesley ditches that grey uniform for a Starfleet one. But this scene is neat, I never knew there was an episode before Tapestry that set it up. I just thought it was a random piece of Picard's history brought up out of nowhere.

  • @jimmyboy99
    @jimmyboy99 14 років тому

    @spcyamada808 Yes but I'm sure they didn't keep those shuttle crafts fully stocked with the groceries required to make something that simple. All the ingredients would have been replicated anyway so why not just replicate the samich?

  • @Tronone
    @Tronone 14 років тому

    Did you spot the continuity error? As Picard throws the napkin to Wesley, you can see Picards' sandwich has a bite taken out of it. In the very next shot, the sandwich is whole again....
    I reckon Q must have had something to do with it....
