Fun fact about that rooster picture.. it was a pattern Ajinomoto used at their merchandise bowl provided with certain amount of purchase, long time ago. Mie ayam sellers buy ajinomoto in bulks so they got a lot of these bowls, and they used it to serve the noodle in their store. So mangkok ayam ( rooster patterned bowl ) became some sort of a classic, a vintage icon. Along with the Ajinomoto typing lol. And a lot of current trends then used the rooster pattern. It was quite a hype it's even used in wedding gifts. It was put in mugs, shirts, even helmets, that exact same rooster pattern as the one on the bowl you ate on. Then one day in 2017, a certain company suddenly registered copyright on that pattern. I don't quite remember if there was any dispute about that or not. Anyway, not anyone can produce anything with that certain pattern now. it's illegal, so people started to make different-yet -similar pattern of rooster 😄
Most foreigners don't realize that it's better to get off at Padalarang station to go to downtown Bandung. I saw other videos of foreigners taking the Whoosh train to Bandung, and they all get off at Tegalluar station. There should be information when ordering tickets to choose Padalarang station as destination, instead of Tegalluar, if we want to go to downtown Bandung.
Max you better drop at Padalarang station and then use a free connecting feeder train to Bandung, is much closer instead drop at Tegalluar which is a suburb of Bandung, and you can do a same thing to Jakarta.

When you mentioned Akatsuki design on the train, I just burst out laughed. That's actually Indonesian batik's motive called "Megamendung" (literally means cloudy cloud), originally from Cirebon (West Java). As you may know, batik is an Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to the whole cloth and become our signature clothing. But the design itself is various and come from many regions in Indonesia, like Central Java, East Java, West Java, Kalimantan, Papua, etc. Each design has its own meaning and representation. On October 2009, UNESCO declared batik as Indonesian's Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. Nelson Mandela of South Africa was known as a tremendous fan of batik since the 90's, and batik became huge hit too in South Africa as a formal wear, which they call it "Madiba Shirt". It could be that Masashi Kishimoto (the creator of Naruto series) inspired by the design when he drew Akatsuki emblem. Batik Megamendung itself symbolizing hopes of rain to fertile the rice field. You're welcome. 😄
I like your optimistic and calm attitude.

You can go to some of the best culinary destinations.
1. Cibadak street (Chinese Chinatown where non-halal food is located) Nasi campur 99, Jakarta's typical sop kaki hendang (Stew beef soup), etc.
2. Batagor Kingsley (a typical Bandung food made from fish and fried)
3. Moms bakery (Best healthy breakfast sandwich in Bandung, better than Subway)
3. Pandan wangi (my version of the best Sundanese food)
4. Pak Ali Borme Bebek (legendary street duck in Bandung)
5. Pak eko rib meatballs (beef meatball sauce using giant beef ribs)
6. Ciater / Gracia hot springs, Lembang

One thing, if you eat rice without any side dishes, you will get the sensation of the power that the rice kicks in, as if it is the neutralizer of all food, because its white color is the basis, I hope you have a nice day, sir.🇮🇩

The architectural of the station and the train are so amazing ...
That's not the Akatsuki logo, 😅,It's a cloud mega mendung from batik Indonesia jawa barat (Cirebon)
