As an Indonesian living in Europe, after watching this vid, I now realize I haven't tried eating a bunch of those snacks before. I will definitely try all these when I travel back home. You make me miss something that I've never tried :)
But I agree tho, Tolak Angin for us is like gold. I always bring a lot of it everywhere especially for the winter.

Still curious why some of your videos are not viral, usually food content of foreigners about Indonesian food gets hundred thousands if not million views. You need to do better in Tittle and Caption of your videos. Once you get some viral videos and people discover your channel, trust me your subscribers will grow so fast. Indonesian people are very supportive if people appreciate and respect their culture by experiencing it.

that description when you eat Selamat Wafers cracked me up! hahaha, you're exactly right though! those wafers are actually quite popular to have in someone's house especially during Eid Al-Fitr. from my grandparents to aunts and uncles, they usually have these wafers in big container along with the Astor and with hot tea! xD

Tolak angin is jamu, we usually drink it when our body not feeling well. Try Jamu like Beras Kencur, Wedang Jahe or Kunyit Asam. It's good for our health too 😁

I'd never even touch Tolak Angin in Indonesia but when I'm overseas tho... Was travelling in the mountainous region of Philippines (Banaue) several years ago and surprised I could find Tolak Angin in the middle of nowhere. The aroma and kick from it was enough to reminds me of home, if only for a few minutes. Ever since, Tolak Angin only when abroad.
Tolak angin is kinda like international consumer product, its everywhere abroad, just like indofood mie goreng, kecap bango abc and aqua bottle water and many more..so there you go

Not gonna lie the best kind of spicy casava chip is offbrand one you find in warung. It is coated in chilly and lime leaf oil. So not a healthy kind of chips but much more addicting then a brand chips. I normally ate it as snack or rice toppings. Tho finding the good quality off brand is quite a chalange.
