Jodi I found your youtube videos when I was researching how to make a square in a square block for a Snails Trail Al Fresco quilt and I subscribed to it. I was so glad that I got notified about this LIVE video and got to learn more about your whole system. My method for making the square in a square blocks was not that shown in the pattern as I was using 5" x 5" charm squares from all of the blocks. I had to cut some small triangles for my s-in-a-square blocks from some really weird shaped triangular scraps I had left over. It was all a real test to my brain power to figure it all out because I was using what I had available to me. I was so thrilled to find your website that showed how to make the square in a square unit using a center square and 4 strips on each of the 4 sides, which is much less complicated than most methods that I researched. I tried using math and it made my brain hurt! Even though I didn't find your youtube channel until I was almost finished making my blocks, I definitely plan to try your methods in the future. I love all the options and all the blocks that can be made using your systems. Thanks for making something that is normally so difficult much easier and I love the fact that those center squares can be any type of square block. Brilliant!

Yes, we don't mess with cutting triangles out but our One Ruler using One Method does it all for us. Everything comes out perfect and ready for your block with not even having to square anything up.
