Excelente trabajo!!!
I did one back in 02 in the back yard. I was learning how to weld and paint on that project. Took a year to do just the body. The frame and everything was done when I got it. Paid $900 for it. Got some good old used tires for free. Shined up the rims. Sprayed the inside with bed liner and the bumpers, 8 cans. Got some leftover mixed paint from a shop down the road that was clean up junk. Had them dump it all in a bucket n shake it for me. Truck came out a slate gray color. First trip around town and some guy offered $5500. Followed him to the bank and I walked home. 🤣.
That's a great story! I am always on the look out for the next project. It's a great way to earn extra $'s. My ultimate would be to find an old late 60's early 70's chevelle to fix up.
I just got the truck iv been literally dreaming about since I was a kid and they parked it by the train tracks near my house... 77 k5 w a 4 speed granny gear and 4 inch lift and 33s... Needs a little tlc but that's all I have for it lol ( I finally got in touch with the owner after 25 years... Sat since 97... Toms of potential tho)
Thankfully not. I did a compression test prior to painting to make sure it didn't need yanked. When I bought the blazer the previous owner had purchased the complete seal kit, which saved a lot. I bought the blazer for $4300 and when all done I plan on having $6000 in it with the purchase. Thank you
Hope you enjoyed! Here is how to add bedliner to your truck! ua-cam.com/video/1BOgrragJcA/v-deo.html

Did you have to touch the motor? Could you ballpark the cost of this restoration? Looks very nice!

Inspired me to grab one to do up for my UA-cam channel. Just getting started. Be sure to check it out!!
Have fun - we just sold this one, looking for our next project!
Not hating. But why is the tailgate closed during painting
So I could paint it. I am a little confused by your comment.
@@DIYOnTheHouse
What about the sides of rear gate and jambs.
@@thomashansen3932 Assuming he painted them, he would have done them when he did the door jambs, if he did them
@@davesiringo7147
There would have been overstay.
Like I said. I not hating on the effort just curious.
Can you do mine
Cool blazer, but you changed the color
Thanks
