Mike there is another law here in México but aplies in some states that if someone knows you are in a young adults party uninvited you can be fined above 100 dollars 😮. I don't know if this is true but in El Salvador if one is driving drunk the soldiers are allowed to shoot!!!

Hi Mike, Texas also has laws regulating the time you can buy alcohol. Monday through Saturday you can buy alcohol from 7:00 am until midnight. On Saturday you can buy alcohol until 1:00 am Sunday. On Sunday you can't buy alcohol until 12 noon. You can only get hard liquor at a liquor store. They are all closed on Sunday, and during the week, their hours are either 9:00 or 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. You can get drinks at a bar until 2:00 am.

Technically you can't cut them down, you have to contact a company that is licensed in relocation of the cacti. I live in Maine, where tourism is a major industry, and as such, there are a lot of scenic laws. For example, billboards are illegal here (in fact, I thought they were an invention of TV as a young kid, until I traveled out of state and saw one for the first time) and the McDonald's in Freeport lost a case where it wanted to tear down a colonial mansion to build a restaurant, so now the store is *in* the house. Also, outdoor Christmas lights and decorations cannot be put up any sooner than a week before Thanksgiving (something Walmart tried to contest and failed) and must be down by January 15th, although how strongly that's imposed depends on how nice the neighborhood/town is (lower income neighborhoods with less aesthetically pleasing homes can sometimes get away with leaving their Christmas lights up all year, for example).

12:43 actually, the establishment needs a permit to have a dance floor and be classed as a nightclub etc, but if you live in Sweden, whether you’re Swedish or not, you are allowed to get up and dance even if there’s no dance floor. Dancing is allowed without a permit. Having a dance floor needs a permit. It has to do with regulations such as fire safety stuff and the government just needs to know if you have the necessary stuff and taking necessary precautions, because there’s differences if there’s suddenly a fire in a restaurant for example, it’s easier to evacuate than if there’s a fire at a nightclub and we have had such devastating incidents in Sweden with nightclub fires with too many casualties. Another example is about restaurants needing a permit to be able to serve alcohol. It’s mostly so that the government will know which establishments sells alcohol to its patrons so that they can do undercover checking once in a while to see if they’re asking for ID or not. Oftentimes, laws are made just so that it will be easier to check if other laws are followed. The most stupid law in Sweden must be the one about prostitution. It’s legal to sell sex but it is illegal to buy sex.

It is of course never enforced but the small town I live in has a law on the books : it is illegal to drive a horseless carriage on main Street unless someone waving a red flag is walking 100ft in front of you

#19 Pick up after your dog is great. They should raise the fine to $5K. Dog owners only pick up after their dogs when there are people around them. Otherwise, they don’t care if no one is watching.

In Klamath Falls, Oregon it is illegal to kick a snake while walking on the sidewalk.
This dates back to the time of wooden raised sidewalks. The snakes would gather under the sidewalks and rest after a night of hunting rats and other rodents in the local streets and open businesses. Each business had open areas under the floors and the rodents would come up from these areas to feast on any crumbs or scraps that people dropped during the day. This law reduced the number of rodents and made the city safer and less prone to transmittable diseases.

Here in Ontario Canada, liqour and beer are only to be sold from 10am-10pm and liqour is only sold in gov't stores. There are a few large grocery stores that sell beer and wine, the wine area closes by 9, the beer by 10pm. Small towns sometimes have a liquor store as a sep. area in a convenience store but is still regulated by the liqour control board and they must close that area by 10pm. So almost the same as the country you mentioned

Pennsylvania alcohol sales regulations got you all beat, but detailing it or even doing n overview is tl:dr kinda stuff. It was 21 years before I realized the next town over, just a hundred yards from my comfy seat, here, was DRY, with no alcohol sales or bars at all. It wasn't a subject that mattered to me until I hit 21, of course.

Hey Mike, may I offer a tip for your Psoriasis? I used to work with a lady who had TERRIBLE psoriasis. She tried a goat milk soap ( i think its called Silly Goat soap? ) within 2 weeks of washing with it and letting it soak into her skin for 5-10 min, it was massively reduced. Not clear, but definitely less than there was.
    Love ya!

The most shocking for me is You did not know most European countries have the same rules of bicycling as in the Netherlands!! Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Switzerland ............ just to mention the countries I am sure about!!
And the restrictions of alcohol in Finland are not as sever as in Sweden (Systembolaget) or Norway (Vinmonopolet) where alcohol or beer over 4,7 % are not sold outside Stat regulated shops!!
    Kind regards the Danish Viking
