I really feel like Michigan won this championship for themselves and their fans. It makes me angry to see the Big 10 try and claim them as representing the conference and giving them legitimacy. The Big 10 commissioner and coaches all conspired to throw Michigan under the bus. Coaches from the conference shared information with TCU to try and hinder Michigans chances in a playoff game. All of the coaches who played Michigan picked Alabama to beat Michigan when interviewed. Then PSU, OSU, Wisconsin, and Iowa all go out and get thrashed by SEC teams. This was not a win for the Big 10. It is a win for U of M.
That was messed up what the Big10 commish and the teams did to try and stifle Michigan's progress. But its still a Big10 win. Its an "in your face" win for the Big but a win for them nonetheless.
I was born in Ann Arbor, so I will admit, I'm biased, but I love this team. I think that this team (for the last three years) has been the epitome of character and integrity overcoming adversity.

I took a ball playing buddy with me, he was a Bucknutts through and through and we had tickets in the student section and wasn't no more than 20 yds away when he made the pose. We had to leave before the 4th quarter he was too livid to communicate! Lol! Good times!

Saban has 6 Nattys with Bama and 1 with lsu. I don't know how much longer he'll coach, hopefully a few more years, He's 72 now but runs drills with the team, we just can't keep a coaching staff for more than a couple of years, he's very demanding and tough to work for, lol

I am so glad they won but the play calling in that game in the 2nd and 3rd quarter was horrible. Michigan did nothing to back Washington off from attacking the line of scrimmage. Washington was so over pursuing and Michigan tried one wide receiver screen pass that was it. There was several chances for screen pass to Edwards. A naked bootleg would have been effective. Throwing deep 50/50 balls. None of that. The second half of the season Michigan's pass game has been a joke. I don't believe that is a result of personnel. It is poor play calling. Anyway enough criticism, They are National Champs and this time no one is retiring so they don't have to split the Natty do to sympathy for a beloved coach.
