And so will Dallas trying to make the 2nd round play-offs.
Jerry Jones should be the coach. He already makes piss poor decisions and he wouldn't fire himself. He would then become the most stellar cellar dweller in NFL history.
If not for David Tepper in Carolina, Jerry Jones would be the worst owner in the NFL.
wait what about the Jets, and Browns
no team can more dysfunctional as the Johnson brothers with the Jets. especially Woody.
Jags?
Colts, and it aint close
I just like that REC (Rich Eisen Consulting) is 3/3 with new head coach needs. These guys really do it all together!
He'll probably go to the Bears
Nope. Dysfunctional head office and a general manager who can't get out of his own way. Nope. I think McCarthy wants something better. And, why in the hell would he take a job where he has to coach against the Lions, Vikings and Packers twice each year. That's career suicide.
Bears ownership is bad, but I don’t think McCarthy would be bothered by that. He just worked for a bad owner. As an offensive guy, I think he’d love to work with Caleb.
So a recap of Jerry going “All In”:
-Lose 48-32 to the #7 seed Packers, which leads to Jerry is saying the team is going to go “All In”, and no one has any idea what that means.
-Proceeds to sign nearly no free agents and also proceeds with a lackluster draft.
-Waits all offseason to sign Dak and CeeDee to massive contracts that hamstring the team, but doesn’t re-sign Mike McCarthy’s contract.
-The Cowboys unsurprisingly regress significantly, look mostly terrible and finish at 7-10.
-And then finally, after all that, Jerry fires Mike McCarthy, which he could have and should have done 365 days earlier.
Which just has me asking what was the point of all of this? Why go through all of this? It makes no sense at all, and I’m mad about this even though I’m not even a Cowboys fan. Thanks for reading this if you did hahah!
I am guessing JJ even pays his bills late on a net 30 agreement, but he gets away with it so why the hell not. You and me can't get away with it but JJ and other of that ilk will get away with it.
The NFL should have a "free agent period" for coaches and GMs so nobody can be interviewed until after the Super Bowl. If I were a GM or owner I would stay far far away from "Prime" Sanders. That will be a total trainwreck if he gets hired. How can the Cowboys and Steelers trade coaches when the Cowboys don't have a coach?! And the Pittsburg Gazette is reporting that Tomlin isn't going anywhere.
id LOVE to have Romo as HC, lol
Romo would be a great coach!
Love romo but idk man. You think hes cut out for that? Seems like a wild gamble. Id take him over zimmer tho
@@0ptimalno way he takes a pay cut. When the rumors first started about him coming back as a coach, he got an immediate multi million dollar raise lol Anything else is a pay cut.
Then Jerry can name himself as the starting QB as well as coach. Why not? He knows more than anyone in football...hahaha
I don't know that any top choice coach wants to coach in Dallas. Clearly, that franchise is handicapped by its owner.
This is what happens when walking corpses run everything
Jerry needs to become the head coach, starting QB, General Manager and possibly the Offensive coordinator!
Pitt needs to keep Tomlin. Pitt's problem is not Tomlin.
Keep telling yourself that. They need a change.
Tomlin is all bark and no bite
great at coming up with catchy quotes and gaslighting reporters who ask valid questions, but controlling a locker room or beating playoff caliber teams seems to be beyond his capabilities these days.... how many hot head malcontent diva WRs have we seen completely melt down repeatedly without ever ONCE being checked by Tomlin? he doesn't hold his own players accountable, he doesn't have any great schemes, he doesn't make any adjustments, and he can't build a good staff around him.... so what does he _actually_ _do_
Tomlin was there for 18 years. Shouldn’t he have left a legacy in the nfl? what coordinators has tomlin hired that are now coaching for other teams?!?
Tomlin to cowboys...add him coaching Micah Parsons, Lawrence, Diggs etc. Add a young OC and they still have better talent on offense with Dak,Lamb. Add Najee who is free agent.
When was the last time the Cowboys made a splashy coaching move? I think Rich is overselling this just for the show... i'll believe Jerry Jones can make a good decision this decade when I see it
Bring in the guy from Colorado and turn the crap show into the biggest dumpster fire on earth! Can’t wait!
stop it.
lol!
Primetime is on the way
😂
Can Dallas handle the two egos of Prime and Jerry? It would be entertaining as hell. That’s for sure.
Rich's shirt looks like a Seinfeld episode.
Gotta be the collar...so magnum P I
Whaaaatttttssss the deal with these Cowboys??????
It's like a pleated shoulder or something? Super weird.
Hey what about Dan Quinn?? He was awesome when he was Defensive Coordinator
Jerry Jones is todays Al Davis. Stephen Jones knows it. And he knows it will not last but for a few years. Then he's the owner...
Please, Bears, do not hire Mike McCarthy after he did nothing in Dallas!
12-5 3 seasons. Bears fans would sign up for that. We’ve sucked for a long time
I think he might hire Billy Martin again!
That was Steinbrenner!
Monken would do great with Dak and CeeDee, but Brian Flores would be an awesome hire for the talent on the defense. Parsons would be in running for all awards under Flores.
JerryWorld 2024:
"All In".
JerryWorld 2025:
'All Out'.
Jesus, I have been a Cowboys fan my whole life but I am wore down with the Jerry Shite Show.
Stop Jerry ain't hiring no black coach period
Only because he knows they ain't taking any sho
If he did would it wake u up to your flawed assumptions
I guess Dallas will take some of the spotlight from the playoffs. As stated below, Jerry should be the head coach.
Whatever happens, whoever is hired.. it’s not going to be something we expect.
The reason being, it will make absolutely no sense.
Seeing a young Eagles n Commanders teams advance with Quinn n Moore coaching broke the rest of Jerry’s brain
We're still letting Brockman speak?
Not complicated, Jerry denied McCarthy an interview with Chicago, so McCarthy & his agent decided we’ll ask for something we know Jerry won’t give us and we’ll get that Chicago interview
Tomlin to the Bears would just be bad news for everybody.
Right on. We don't need Pittsburghs problems. We have our own. MM is intriguing tho...
For things like this is what I gave up on the Cowboys last year. Jerrah is killing all the fans
So, Shadur Sanders, who didn’t even sniff a championship this year, is now the #1 draft favorite? Seriously?
Stetson Bennett won back to back championships and was a 4th rounder. Scouts ain’t looking at rings. It’s a weak QB class, but top 10 pick teams are almost always QB needy. Cam Ward is better imo but Sheduer will be up there
Did you watch him play?
He might be talented enough, but he has a huge disadvantage in a helicopter parent.
Lolllllll, what!?! Winning in college doesn't mean nfl ready
@@mjjoe76 we heard a lot of the same chatter about Caleb Williams dad “forcing his way” onto preferred teams and it didn’t happen, so I take all those headlines with a grain of salt
Jerry Jones has had enough. He is going to put on the headset and do it himself.
Please sign Ron Rivera Jerry
Who's to say that Vrabel and the Cowboys didn't talk behind the scenes? McCarthy was restricted from interviewing - not the Cowboys.
Yeah Jerry playing that 4d chess that no one else has been playing the last 30 years lmfao
Good riddance Mike McCarthy!! Now we need to hire a GM. Jerry needs to step aside and hand over the reins to someone that can take the Cowboys to a Super Bowl.
As an embarrassed season ticket holder … please get Tomlin.
Thinking on any level that the next hire won’t be another incompetent sycophant is truly incredible. Literal insanity.
McCarthy signed the deal that includes an exclusive negotiation period. While I get that Jerry doesn't NEED to enforce it they aren't required to. The Bears haven't hired anyone and I'm confident McCarthy will still get an interview. So for these hosts to pee on themselves because the Bears were denied a request to talk to McCarthy need to relax.
Aint no way Tomlin is working for Jerry Jones
Agree, Brett
"Jets have been speed dating" when referring to the HC hiring process is wild 😂
What do you want to bet, all those people interviewed by the Bears and they will pick the wrong one....lol
What Dallas needs is a general manager that knows football.
