Well, I'm not out of show business entirely. I just don't worry about any of it anymore. Oddly, I still get offers and have worked over the years on smaller projects.
You made the right choice.....Its not like they're making good movies anymore anyways. I grew up in the 80s and 90s....seen plenty of your movies, but I was thinking the other day.....growing up Siskel and Ebert had a weekly show where they'd review 4 or 5 new movies coming to theatres. All things you'd want to see and if you missed one in no time it'd be up for rental. And even until the mid 00s ...you'd go to blockbuster on Tuesday and a NEW crop of movies would be on the new arrivals wall. All movies you'd heard about, or wanted to see etc. Nowadays though....I BARELY hear about anything that I'm anticipating to watch.

I interviewed you years ago for a magazine in Jakarta. I always felt you had such talent - aside from the Kay Kendall beauty - but most people just didn't have the smarts and depth to understand you, and where you're coming from. And I used to love your Letterman appearances.
