Phasing has nothing to deal with speed, its about changing the frequenty of their cells to viberate fast enough that their cells are an empty space 3. After savitar came out of the speedforce prison, he lost his access to the speedforce tunnels, so he is not that fast anymore as you can see when they we’re running in the last episode. 4. And while time traveling they use the speedforce to timetravel, by using the speedforce they can break the time barrier. Not by them selfs, they create a portal to the speedforce. The speedforce controls all the time. The speed force is a empty space and time.

Keep in mind that Barry can manipulate how fast he can go, he can run as fast as he wants, he can run all around the world and even change his speed to how fast a cheetah can go as an example

Season 3 is where it went downhill with writing. Barry was literally calculated to have ran faster than Mach 13.2 in the Season 2 finale. In Season 3, Wally wasn't even mach 3. Yet surpassed Barry's speed in less than a couple of episodes. Season 4 he couldn't catch a Prius because too many marbles on the ground, yet the same season he ran someone 16,000 miles to china in less than 5 seconds. That's literally 5,765,000 miles per hour. Power scaling always revolve around plot.
I think the better ending would be if thawne teamed up too. Having him kill savitar would be a cool ending imo so he can finally kill (a version) of Barry.

Disappointed in the script writing of how Hunter + Zoom = The Black Flash could be easily outrun by the help of a single mutant, Savitar only had an advantage to make time slower of speed to draw down black flash and had killer frost I believe that’s her name? To kill the black flash which is really unsatisfying. The Black Flash could’ve easily outmaneuver her abilities and could’ve went after savitar by just out speeding around them or come from behind. This fight and writing was the BIGGEST disappointment I’ve seen out of spoilers because I couldn’t catch up with the flash. The Black Flash isn’t dead because it’s a death speedster hunter that’ll easily come back. I know he’ll return and come back.

Why was savitar afraid of black flash? Killer frost easily disposed of him while he was running at superspeed. I do not understand why they did hunter dirty like this. I mean, at 0:30 black flash dodges killer frosts ice like a pro, but then at 0:39 he gets frozen solid? Wtf.
