Hiking Alberta: Horseshoe Canyon

Horseshoe Canyon is a region of badlands surrounded by prairie in the province of Alberta, Canada. We hiked at Horseshoe Canyon on two separate occasions in the spring and summer months. While in the summer, there is a fee to park but not one in the spring.
We would like to acknowledge that this trail is on Niitsítpiis-stahkoii ᖹᐟᒧᐧᐨᑯᐧ ᓴᐦᖾᐟ (Blackfoot / Niitsítapi ᖹᐟᒧᐧᒣᑯ), Michif Piyii (Métis), Cree and Očhéthi Šakówiŋ lands.
