Akra's deep growl is nice but I like the stock sound, it's loud but not loud enough to disturb the neighborhood.

The stock exhaust sounds like a raspy muffled economy car 4 banger. I have not met a single person in real life that thought it sounded good. It also weighs 12 lbs for JUST the rear muffler slip-on. It’s also an eyesore of a giant metal rectangle. It is enormous and actually gets in the way of any passenger wanting to sit comfortably as it come up right behind the rear right peg at an angle, forcing them to angle their toes downward.
If anything the Akra isn’t actually that loud. I have a few different exhausts for my ZX4RR, and the Akra slip on is middle of the pack for sheer volume. Sounds fantastic and classy. There are a few like the Austin Racing that are just ridiculously loud.
Also, not sure where you live but I have a feeling it isn’t in the USA. And if it is in the USA, it’s definitely not the South or lower half of the West. Over here, the avg mom has a f150 on spacers, lift kit, and a chopped off exhaust. The only thing that makes them happy on the road is someone louder than them lol.

Ninja 400 has parallel twin engine, ZX4R has inline 4 engine which in my opinion sounds better.
2 totally different engines. The Ninja 400 is a good daily commuter bike. It makes about 50hp and it's relatively comfortable. The ZX4RR is a super sport track bike, and makes about 80hp. The ZX4RR is definitely not a beginner bike; it's a bike for someone who isn't interested in a 600 or bigger but wants good performance, sound, look and feel.
That’s because the zx4r has an inline 4 engine. Same as most 1kcc bikes

Quick question for anyone who knows.
How do you make it rev that loud at a stand still or at slow speeds? Like for example if a car cuts you off how do you make it rev like that, do you hold the clutch in but keep your speed the same 🤔 sorry in advance if that seems a bit confusing 😅
If you pull in the clutch the vehicle is essentially in neutral. It's like putting your car in neutral and slamming on the gas.
Anyone know if the Akrapovic is a slip-on exhaust or a full exhaust?
