Boy oh boy where do I even begin. Samuel ... honey, my pookie bear. I have loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you. The way you drive into the paint and hustle for rebounds makes me feel euphoric. I would do anything for you. I wish it were possible to freeze time so I would never have to watch you leave for Harvard.
Wow this video has made me open my mind to so many new amazing things. Thank you so much for all your insight on this topic. You are and outstanding human being and such a profound entity. Love from O block on GD I will make it to Harvard. Bless the gang
Verily, the acceptance of Samuel into Harvard University doth filleth our hearts with great joy and pride. To witness his ceaseless pursuit of knowledge and his unwavering dedication to his studies hath been naught but a fount of inspiration. From the late vigils spent in study to the myriad discourses on the nature of success, Samuel hath showneth us the very essence of determination. His acceptance into Harvard doth not merely attest to his scholarly brilliance, but also to his mettle and character. As one among his dearest companions, I rejoice greatly for him. I am certain that this acceptance doth mark but the commencement of a wondrous journey for Samuel, one that shall see him leave an indelible imprint upon the world. Harvard gaineth not only a keen intellect, but also a compassionate and resolute soul, one who shall surely flourish within its venerable halls. The achievement of Samuel doth stand as a testament to his toil and the support of those who surround him, and I harbor no doubt that he shall continue to fill our hearts with pride in all his endeavors.
This is definitely insightful. I wished that someone had made a video on this while I was a high school student. A great example to follow. Good luck at Harvard. If you get the opportunity, check out Harvard's Sociology Department as some of the classes they offer might hold your interest as a potential field of study as well...
Do you think getting two B's during sophomore year will hurt my chances? They were in AP Physics + Spanish but I haven't gotten any B's since (3.96/4.00 UW, 4.67/4.0). I'm just worried because I saw many statistics saying how 70%+ ivy admits had 4.0's.
Hey I think the two Bs would not hurt significantly especially since your UW is a 3.96 and AP Physics is one of the hardest APs. As long as you get almost all As for the rest of high school, it will be fine as you will also show improvement from sophomore year which colleges love. Hope this helps!
Thank you! Some other ECs I did that I did not go into detail was being the President of the Math Team, being a part of the school wide site council, tutoring for an organization for scholars circle which I helped grow, and lastly I did some creative writing.
Hey im a junior and im interested in business econ and Todays Ai world as well. What do you think I can do with Ai and resarch like government policys or something. I dont want to do the same thing that you did but love the idea and want to develop on it using some type of research.
You think I have a chance if I only do extracurriculars in the last two years? I didn’t know extracurriculars were important and now I’m not getting into NHS for it
Yes you still always have a chance no matter how many extracurriculars you have. Also, a lot of things you have done potentially such as taking care of a sibling (family), walking your dog, or other tasks can be considered a responsibility and therefore an extracurricular. Therefore, two years is great and you shouldn't worry too much
hey lol ik u said you wont yap about gpa and stats and that was wondefull. But if you dont mind me asking what was ur gpa and sat i saw you were a valedictorian. Thanks :)
Yes that counts you can do extracurrculars outside of school, but later if your high school does not have a dance team or program, try making one. Always create something if you want to do it but the school does not have it like I did with the debate club
@@sammycrafty7126 Alright, you mentioned that you first wanted to major in history, and I'm looking for ECs other than volunteer work related to history. Do you have any suggestions for any historical activities that you know of?
@@Mr.Archduke yeah of course, beyond just taking AP history classes I did ECs such as debate which I related to history as I explained in my essays how it relates to Econ and I could’ve for history as welll, student government or club leadership is good for history and pioneer academics I did history research which was good. I also taught historical concepts through a nonprofit and hosted after school programs for kids so any of these competitive or volunteer opportunities are great
Yes I recommend a program called Pioneer Academics which I talked about for research opportunities. Internships in general are hard for high schoolers to receive, so I recommend getting research experience first.
@@dainfernalsumit yeah it is expensive but you can apply for scholarships for it, I think its worth it. If not, try joining the Interact/Rotary club in your school and get internships through that program.
Oh Samuel, words cannot express how proud I am of you. Your insight can be used as a map for those striving for success, keep blazing through!
Thank you Nathaniel! You are my sunshjne

Nice to see someone actually explain for once instead of just listing off their 9.999 gpa and 50000 sat score
Lmao yeah I tried to avoid stats because it really dosent mean anything for people listening
IKR, the only person I could see why they would share stats is Helen Piltner because she did some crazy stuff
Right on point. Thx for sharing and congrats bro 🔥
For sure lemme know if you ever have any questions

Insightful video bro, really appreciate it. What were the other ECs you did apart from the ones in the video?

Yes you can def start by cold emailing professors about potentially helping, but I would recommend applying to Pioneer Academics

Hi, I loved your video! Can you make a video on how you got accepted to pioneer? Thanks
Yes I can go over the application process in parts of my next videos potentially, for more information check out the website in the description
