Like, where else can you roast your boss about his habits (like Linus almost constantly dropping stuff) as a joke and not get fired for it. Sounds like a decent place to work in tbh, even if we have to help him move house for a video.
Props to Linus for being able to create content out of him moving houses, monetising everything and making it entertainin
Gotta help offset the cost of the house LOL
He learned when moving from house office to real office. Had some really great content.
You have to hit it and say "that's not going nowhere" That cracked me up. You have to start teaching them the Canadian way of doing things early!
exactly, part of our Canadian heritage, along with "she's all set" and "giver heck bud"
Nothing Canadian about that at all. That's a dad thing. It's done the world over in all languages.
best part of the video
@@Jezee213 When you're delivering groceries to the riverboat dock but it's raining and the bridge is under water so the guy on the boat goes "GIVER HE[CK] BUD!" True story, except I wasn't there and wouldn't have "givener heck" if I was. Oh, West Virginia, mountain mama.
@@RAndrewNeal 😄 yep.
Dan's expression when Linus is trying to force the RCA cable is a mood.

The tablet holder in the theater room is pretty useful, especially with LInus' goals for automating the whole place. You can set up a Home Assistant dashboard for the tablet that has theater room device controls, scene triggers, etc.
was just scrolling through comments to see if anyone mentioned this. It is, in fact, for automated home theatres.
Might also be usefull in combination with Touch Portal
@@dmorty6241 This is what happens when Linus cheats on Jake with the logistics team, Jake would have been able to explain it
I LOVE Home Assistant, but when you've got it working perfectly, you don't need to interact with it much. That's remote control, not automation
I love the logistic team. Have them on camera more often!!
Better yet have a LMG team competition, the winner will spend a night in Linus new house!
I continue to love the saga of Linus and his new house. Also " I was quoted by the moving company 11 grand, instead I just brought over my logistics people" is the most Linus thing ever.
11 grand is ridiculous for an in city move. Clearly they looked at hid address and figured he could afford it.
@@jemiebridges3197 probably looked up his name instead. Realized he owns a company worth tens of millions of dollars by now
@@jemiebridges3197 yeah it's ridiculous the way people take advantage any chance they get. They screwed themselves in the long run and missed out on a job though which is nice.

@Susanna wow ..
I love how Linus said: "I rarely drop myself" implying that he drops even himself sometimes 😂
He does. But only onto his employees' bedframes.
@@xormak3935 That reminds me, did Andy ever get that new bedframe?

@@Neoxon619 yes they talked about it on a wan show
The fact that the logistics staff can just sit down on screen with Linus's Daughter is just Golden, 10/10 would watch this bunch more. Obviously they were just missing No1 work son to work out where he wanted all the speakers to go/connect. You get lots of Beer/Pizza for 11K
The thing about that 11k is that I count at least 7 people there. Couple of days work, some trucks moving back and forth,... that quickly adds up. Linus made the business decision to use his own staff and create content out of it. That way it's an easily justifiable business expense and ... he gets content out of it.
@@ZesPak Let's just hope he's paying them, you can get seriously injured if something falls while moving and I bet their policy doesn't cover moving furniture for a tech company :P
@@Shadowfax2121 For the warehouse staff it very well might - they already need similar coverage.
@@Shadowfax2121 it's the logistics team, it's not Jake or Alex. I guess this fits in their jobs responsibilities

My favorite LTT episode. The crew behind the scenes is hilarious!

Exactly! My favourite of the Logistic Avengers.
This whole video feels like a bunch of dads get together and helping out moving stuff
and two moms 😉
You know you’re a true adult when you’re impressed by a wine glass holder for furniture that’s not made for wine glasses.

Glad to see Jake is getting his stuff moved over.
The best part of this is linus spending most of the video in the theatre room goofing around with the seats while Yvonne has to go around the house with logistics
Also to add as a former chef my self you had the best person for the job breaking those boxes down.
this video had some "the office " vibes, love it . also Dan gives me Riley vibes might be a great host. awesome team linus :)

23:37 I don't know if it's standard, but that is actually how every set of bunk beds I've slept in was connected. My sisters had a different set up, but lower bunk was a larger bed, so the frame was set up differently. Me and my brother have used something like four different bunk beds with this exact same set up.
Yep, this is how a lot of bunk beds are stacked and have been for decades
If you are worried about the bunk beds moving/collapsing, get a sturdy strip of nice metal, put a hole at each end and attach it to each bunk leg with screws.
I would even do 2-3 sides of each post that way heh
It'll be fine. If the dowels were inadequate then they wouldn't make basically every bunkbed that way.
I've made bunkbeds that didn't even use metal dowels.
Linus: It's hard to scribble through videos to find the good stuff
His kid: You make videos
Linus (apparently turning into Kratos): I know I make videos, boy.
All that effort formatting for a terrible comment.
Oh I see everything is being set up for when the REAL owner, Jake moves in
He's just using Linus to break everything in for him
Little does Linus know that Dennis is already camped in the attic...

"I don't know, who can fathom why Jake does the things he does?"
I always enjoy the burns and jabs LTT crew throws at each other. :D
I didn't see that as a burn, I think he genuinely just kind of does whatever he wants.
Two full home therator love couches,
Several thousand dollars.
The look on linus' face when Jamie plugged LTT Store after Yvonne looked at his butt,
Priceless.
"it's not heavy, it's awkward" is such a man thing to say and I'm here for it.
It comes up legitimately so often irl though...
Yeah if you work moving furniture for a living, its very real. If you lift all the weight of say, a table, all yourself; you're just making it hard. Make gravity do the work for you. Something that's awkward is something which you cannot move with the assistance of gravity. CRTs are heavy, but not awkward. Desks are often pretty lightweight, but rather awkward.
Watching this I forgot all meaning of my "left" & "right" 😂
You could say you left the right definitions of right and left, right at the door, and no longer have them, since you never left?
That LTT store plug from Jamie was so smooth lmao, loved it.
"we need to put RGB bulbs in here because, DUH" I love it
"Why do i need a tablet, and why do i need it held here??" Because usually people who get expensive fancy seating like that have tablets for the entertainment system controls. I wonder if he could set up a HomeAssistant thing to do that...
High end home theaters usually have their own seperate closet for the electronics - Sony's Jukebox CD/DVD/Blu-ray players with their monsterous capacity, were extremely popular for this kind of application 15+ years ago.
@@machinist7230 if you watched the video, you'd have seen the separate closet in the theater room, and the separate room to control the other stuff.
15:35 phasing occurs with correlated sounds (the more of the same sound, the more phasy it can get), so basically running in stereo does not increase, but may decrease phasing a bit. Also, having stereo summed acoustically in a room might sound better than having it summed electronically (you can get at least some stereo separation in the space versus not having it at all)
I haven’t been able to actually sit down and watch the video yet, but oh how far we’ve come. I remember being excited to see the next moving vlog when you guys moved into the warehouse from the Langley house. Feeling a little bit nostalgic is all

The tablet holder might be for casting, so you can bring up netflix on your phone and cast it to the screen and have a little control panel next to you.
It's for any reason you'd want a tablet or phone next to you on the couch. Home automation tablet, like a Crestron tablet, or a regular android or Apple tablet.
Massively successful tech-tuber with years of understanding and commenting on high tech items and corporate shenanigans gets his brain melted by the prospect of building up a couch.
I envy so much being in a company with such a strong family wide, not as "it's the family you can do unpaid hours" but the "we help each other and jokes with everyone"
family through trust, not trapping and manipulation.
