hard disk repair|transcend storejet|

This is something very different from my past videos, and I created this video for anyone searching for HDD repair. I searched the internet for something similar , but I was unable to find some proper knowledge to repair my HDD, so hence i decided to take things in my hand even I didn't had complete Knowledge so you dont have to go blind in such things...

Thanks for the useful info, I also faced the same problem.
But I just used the MIRCO USB wire which used to charge Mobile or Bluetooth headphones and it worked very well.
Now using Mirco USB Wire I am able to use my 4k price Hard Disk again. Thanks for giving me the idea.

Hi, what called the board that you've changed in the video? is it sata to usb adapter or what? i can't find it in any stores

Yes It is a converter kit from sata to usb also known as two and a half inch enclosure for a hard drive.. Just go to Amazon or something and write enclosure for hard disk.

Hello, I found this thread on reddit about Transcend StoreJet 25M3. He says the metal plating inside the 25M3 starts to corrode after 4 years and it might cause the HDD to short and die suddenly, is it true?

what's the problem? is that external hdd not detected by disk management or device manager? because my 2TB Transcend storejet like that one are not detected at all by anything.

The problem was that it wasn't detected by both... reason, hardware (connecting pins) were damaged by time, so I changed the entire casing.

@@MixupTheWorld in my case, when my friend copying big files about ±2,5gb (RAR of AutoCAD setup), he nudge the cable and make the hdd disconnected from the system, when I try to tighten the usb to the port it's no longer detected anymore. do you think my problem is related?

Try somethings before doing what I did, change the cable and try it in a different pc..and is it in warrenty period or same case like me?

Then toh I can only suggest you that, take that hdd to a near by pc repairs shop, they will help you, cuz the things that I did in this vid can help you, but it might screw up your hdd
