  • How To Intall Yamaha F350 Outboard Lower Unit
I was checking and replacing lower unit fluid on my Yamaha F350 Outboards the other day. When I got to the 2nd one and went to drain the oil it was filled with water.
The link to that video is here • Changing Lower Unit Fl...
So I pulled the lower unit off and took it into the service department to have it completely resealed and pressure tested. I just got it back and I wanted to show you how to step by step how to reinstall the lower unit and get everythinig lined up perfectly. I also include some extra preventative maintanence items that will help you in the long run. Check it out as it applies to all outboards!!
Thanks for watching and please leave a comment on what you think about the service videos!

Great tips. I recently changed my water pump for the first time in 350hours and I had to use alittle muscle getting my foot off. Hopefully the lube I put on will make it easier next time

How often do you need to replace the anodes on your motors? Also excellent information 👌

I just inspect them and if I see they are starting to look really pitted then its time. Usually they last a loooong time on a trailered boat.

I see you running 4 bladed props; how heavy is your boat? I have 30 Robalo with 350’s and I trouble getting up on plane.I was told that the 4 blade will help thanks Roger

Yes it will help but sounds like you are over pitched as well. What are your engines running at wide open throttle trimmed out?
