ESPN is their own demise. All the great commentators with the large fan bases are finding homes like here on UA-cam/Spotify AND having independent sponsorships where they are their own boss, can give their own opinions for once, and don’t have to constantly talk about how much they love Lebron or massage the ego’s of large market franchises. ESPN has also became political which isn’t good for the reputations of their analysts and employees which could turn off some viewers completely. Wouldn’t be surprised if Disney unloads this money pit of a network in the next 5 years.
Really a shame LeBatard and Stugotz are very bright very dedicated professionals. I can’t believe how ESPN is crumbling right before our eyes. They’ve become more concerned about politics and racial opinions than reporting sports. Their idea of entertainment is Stephen A yelling and insulting people, and don’t understand that their intelligent viewers are flipping the channel. Their best show is Pardon the Interruption and I’m sure they will cancel that too...I’m sure Dan and Stu will land on their feet on another network or podcast.
If Fox Sports puts up a website that rivals or trumps espn’s then it’s a new game.

Didn't even know DP was still working. Lost his TV spot on my tv lineup, not on the radio in my area...is he just doing podcasts? Or do you have to "call in and listen?" GG boys. As for DLB, his show was entertaining about 5 minutes a week and a real turnoff about 80% of the rest of the time. Despite all the DLB lovers here cheering him on, give him about a year or so before they shut down and "retool."
