Lagos is a great city !!!! I grew up in Lagos and we were there from 1961 to 1989 .
We lived at 9 Kuramo Close, Ikoyi.
My Dad was CEO of a British Insurance Conglomerate and we had a very privileged and high end lifestyle.

Adeyemi Lawson & Ilabere are connected by Ilu Drive, with Kuramo Close smack in the center.
And then from Ilabere take Inupa Drive to Queens Drive.
There is / was Ijesha ( or was it Ilesha ) Lodge right where Inupa Drive met Queens Drive.
Across the creek on the other side is Maroko ( or is it Falomo ) Village.
I am told that that entire are is now Lekki.
I miss Lagos. Still consider it my hometown

Good to see Lagos is now up grading I was born in Lagos and stayed there until 1997 finally then moved to Dubai, I hope that Lagos comes up again like the 70s and then I can take my kids to show them how it was. I am an Indian but heart goes for Lagos since I was born there and lived there for 26 years of my life

Hi Brother. I stayed in Nigeria from 2012-2016 in different cities of Nigeria like Lagos, Abuja, Bauchi, Kaduna & Kano. I agree completely that there are few areas which are dangerous and rules & regulations are quite tight. But on every street you visit, you try to show a fear of getting robbed or kidnapped in the video is absolutely not correct. STOP FOOLING PEOPLE WITH FAKE FEAR. Rest you know very well. Nigeria is way better than India, in south of Nigeria and even in villages, u see better houses than u can find in India. Our cities do not smell like rotten spices neither do we drink stagnant water or bath in the rivers.
Nigeria export educated people all over the world. Come to the Middle East, all the labourers are Indians, Nepali and Bangladeshi. U will rarely find Nigerians in such awkward jobs. Nigeria is beautiful. Check estate in Abuja, visit port harcourt, Enugu, kaduna.
