Bro Condition of railways in US is shittt.... and it's mostly used for freight transportation not for passanger travel.
So don't expect too much like Japanese or Chinese railway.
And one more thing US uses MM-DD-YYYY system so that ticket isn't valid till December 😅
You will see trains like that because it is not their primary mode of communication, it's one's own car. However good your public communication is, in any country, nothing can beat your own car. You see so many cars outside the station because people go to work in NY or far of cities by train living in Princeton. One cannot park in NY city as it is very expensive. That's why people live in NJ and work in NY. Good to see you here, don't forget Vegas :)

Good videos, few years ago, I was a student in the US, not in NY though, but in MI, have lived in NJ in a place called Harrison, just before the Newark train station, for almost 3+ months and used to take transit; yes North East corridor is very busy and vast, but let me tell you, I the other regions of the US, train is technically non existent, as youvsaid I have already shown Indian train journey and will show US. Also the Amtrak , the national railroad operator, has very few connections outside of NY, MA, CT are in the east coast and takes lot of time... have a safe and happy sojourn, anyways , I'm from Mumbai, Thane 🙏

NJ particularly Edison area is thickly populated with Indians mainly Gujaratis. In whole US you will find Gujaratis and Indian culture. 🙏
If you get a chance please explore California Zephyr from Amtrak. It is one of the most scenic journey from Chicago to SFO of 56 hours. I got a chance to do that 2 years back and it was one of the most memorable journey of my lifetime.
Good to see you Dolesh Bhai in USA, but remember - TT is out in the station, which does not mean you can roam around the station as you like. It's considered bad here!!!!!! you better sit in your seat or just get outside for good. Hope you get it

NJT is a commuter train to go to work in NYC with Monthly parking and train passes.

NJ transit is basically a commuter train. Think of Mumbai local for comparison purposes. These are trains for daily commuters where people who live in NJ but work in NY. The maximum travel time is not more than 1.5 hours, so in general, there are no rest rooms/wash rooms, dining facilities etc.,
You will find them only in Amtrak as they do cross country travels. But you most certainly have a positive attitude so I feel you will enjoy your US trip and have great time.
You need a car in USA to drive around to see things. As you can see, when he left NY outskirts to NJ, as soon as he departed outside, nothing is there. You see cars parked because there are lot of people who park their cars and take the subway to NY for work etc. He will have to find a bus stop and change few to get to places which is very time consuming. Its very tiring journey. Well I guess you can see the cheap mode of transport in USA and how you can get one place to other but cars and planes are the biggest transport in USA. I have lived here for over 30 years but never took a Amtrak like train because planes are faster and cheaper. Maybe when high speed comes, things might change if they make stations in Downtown like areas. Till then Cars rule the street and Planes rule the sky. Cheers!!!! :)

I feel the trains are in very good condition. People forget india when they go abroad 😅. Am not a big USA Fan but these are developed nations. U cannot compare it with other countries. Each country has its own charm
One thing you will enjoy in USA, which is not common in the world, is you won't feel like a stranger whether you're going to a city where you have family and friends, or you're just traveling alone wandering across the nation... enjoy....

Dover is in New Jersey, double decker goes to Trenton as well. Restrooms are there, there are quiet cars and you cannot speak there.

Maine 2015 mein travel Kiya tha US. Kafi boring laga tha mujhe, weather, system etc sahi hai, but wo desi mahool nai Mila. Malls b boring hee lage mujhe. Washington DC mein tha main. Isi vajah se New York gaaya hee nai.

Princeton Jct has only 2 stns but such a big parking lot cuz bhar bhar ke Desi NYC mein 6 fig salary kamane financial companies mein kam le liye jaate hai so they can afford living and around Princeton area which has best rated schools. And hum Desi always for good education be it in your Don bosco borivali or schools in west Windsor Princeton
