I picked up a 4-pack of this Irish Stout at the Beverage Barn. This one comes in at 4% ABV and 34 IBUs. This poured a jet black color with a decent two-finger khaki colored head. The nose on this was roasty malt and light coffee. This was medium bodied, which was a little lighter than I would have liked, but it wasn't distracting. I picked up roasty malt, coffee, and maybe a hint of dark chocolate. As a nitro beer, this was smooth as can be, and at 4% super sessionable. While I prefer Guinness to this, it is still adecent beer.

Man I haven't had this. LOL old school vibes. You're a damn good man cheers
This was one of the original nitro beers. Glad to try it again! 🍻
I love this stout, and I wish it would return to Louisiana.
I have not seen it in a while then it popped up for St Patty’s Day, hopefully it pops up in LA!
This is what Guinness is supposed to be as far as the body! Not full bodied like a pastry stout but it's thicker than Guinness and that's a win in my book!
Yeah, this is solid. Cheers!🍻
Cheers TK, biscuits is like cookies, been a while since I have had this. Great video buddy, 🍻!
Cheers, Rod!
i myself have not had one in 11 years. I just NOW opened one and am drinking it. I love it! I've missed it and I need more! great video btw!
Thanks for watching and i agree, I forgot how good a beer this is!
Classic … haven’t had this in a while! Looks great, love the nitro pours…Guiness is good, will have try this again! Nice review bro! Cheers 🍻
Same for me, had been 10 years since I had this, glad I revisited.
Hi TK, I stop by to say Hi and listening to your review now. I like Stout, drink it occasionally. I wish you a wonderful upcoming weekend TK 🙏🤗
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
You're most welcome TK, thanks too 🤗🙏
I thought Murphy’s was brewed in Yorkshire in the Heineken mega-factory so the Scotland reference is interesting - I’d assume that’s maybe for the US market 🍻
I was getting a lot of conflicting info between the can, UnTappd, and Beer Advocate. Can says Scotland, so I will go with that. And you may be right, maybe different ABVs for different markets, thus brewed at different facilities. Cheers!!
Murphys is a cork stout
It's not as good as Guinness but I still love it 😋 What you call biscuits, we call scones in Scotland 😉
Not as good as Guinness? Lol. Yea ok 😅
I will take a scone as well, I love them!
I can't remember the last time I had a Murphy's.
Probably 10 years ago with me...lol
I doubt anyone would not drink that extra 2.9 ounces lol. I THINK I have tried this? (I don't remember) Great review sir. Cheers!!
Yeah, its just misleading. Like when a candy bar says it is multiple servings...like no one is eating half a Twix bar..lol.
I’ll admit it, I prefer Murphy’s over Guinness.
I feel Murphys has a better overall flavor, especially in the finish. Guinness is a standard in my fridge but when I see Murphys I grab it
I think it has a more Robust taste than Guinness for sure. I am glad this popped up on a St Patrick’s Day escape at the beer shop. Cheers, Pete! 🍻
