Flying at 50-60 feet OR 100 feet... isn't there a risk to ram into trees etc OR if by mistake the control stick is just moved by a little... it can slam into ground. Do they fly autopilot at 100 feet to manage such precision ?

1965.. no buildings to worry about ... And my guess is that average trees are not more than 50-60 feet. ( I live in a five storey building and there are no trees around that are higher than the building here. So i think 100 ft is doable.

@@RamGization Ok... point taken for at 100 feet trees ain't much trouble.... but an odd "cough" or "sneeze" would be enough to end my dear life if I am flying 700-800 KMPH holding onto the manual control stick !

Simple answer IAF Pilot are professional they sweat more in peace and bleed less in war..
Imagine the practice they would have done in their pilot days to be successful for this day..

@@harpreetsinghpannu408 Agreed !! It requires nerves of steal to fly it at 100 feet and that too in night and in 1965 vintage aircraft technology. I am wondering what they can do today with SU30's & Rafale's.
