Great video about my country. Fully enjoyed. One travel tip for you: If you have language barrier, before visiting country check out local cuisine. Take photos of the dishes you want to try. When you go to restaurant just show the photo to waiter. Simple as that. Good luck. Hope to see you in Baku again.
Really enjoyed watching this video and all of the experience involved, guys! Fascinating country and I am looking forward to traveling to Azerbaijan at the end of October. Always love your guys' sense of humour!
@@OskarandDan Awww thank you so much that’s very kind of you! I also just watched Dan’s review on Lufthansa flight. I often watch your video on different places but rarely comment 😂
It's crazy, the wedding palace at 15:46 is actually very close to my house in Sheki! But I'm so disappointed that our people couldn't show the treasures of Sheki to you properly. Sheki has been like a city state for centuries, that's why it has a distinct culture. Sheki is renowned for its piti and halva, historical momuments, arts and crafts, and even their humor!
You both would make National Geographic jealous. Love seeing the world through your eyes. Love your spirit and the love you share with each other. Much love from the United States. Travel safe❤️
As an Azerbaijani, I found the vlog thoroughly entertaining! 😂 The episode with the "taxi" driver was brilliant, I laughed so hard I had tears running down my face. 😂The whole video was great. Your bizarre experience with the food adds to it, the food in Azerbaijan is normally delicious, hope you got to try some nice meals later on in your trip haha
We have stiches from laughing so much 😂 So much randomness! Oh and depression on a plate 😂 This was the best!!! Love how you guys always make the most of every experience.
Another great vlog , each country you go to has so many different things to offer and even within the country the differences are apparent, the mud thing was cool !
What a delightfully bizarre trip report!! Everything seemed ... I don't know the word ... maybe "eerily" different. But that's one of the joys of that travel is all about!!
Hey guyz I love ur content. That’s awsome. Glad u guyz are making ur dreams come true. I hope I can travel one day. Good to see ur friend all over again.
I am watoching this video from NyC as az Azerbaijani boy and guy on the restaurant made me to laugh so much 😂 they both speyaks different langs and they both expect to understand each other’s language
Hey Oskar and Dan. Really enjoyed your videos. Have you been to the Philippines? Aside from our world class beaches like in Palawan, Boracay, Siargao, etc. We have rice terraces up norrh, chocolate hills in the visayas region and so many more. Manila and the greater Metro is great too.
18:50 OMG I still can't stop laughing. I'm from Azerbaijan and this man is speaking in an accent, a specific dialect and he's trying to say "the big one, look? it's there" (smith like this) and people speaking in that accent says that phrase consecutively ( like a few times) but also quickly. And when I saw the subtitle " hiet bodabap" and "bidididibip" 😂😂😂😂I really couldn't I just lost it. Like the uncle is trying so hard to explain so cute. And also April's face during the whole convo 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Boys, that restaurant "hut" is so cool and that waiter is soo cute! Along the way, you boys are so brave!! (They let you go because you are so hot) So HOW did you feel as "westerners" visiting...did you feel "welcome" ?
I can tell you this taxi driver just killed me :D And I am a native Azerbaijani speaker, so believe me that mix of English and Azerbaijani slang was hilarious :D
This video came out in time. I am trying to decide between a trip to either Baku or Istanbul and I still cannot make a choice (I've never been to either). What do you think I should pick?
Y'all are far more brave than I am getting in a random "taxi" haha I'm so glad you still had a great time exploring and ending in Baku! I wonder why all of those police officers were pulling you over at the beginning? it's good to see Aprilynn back in the vlog! Travel safe, friends!
OMG.... You are so brave (OR crazy!)!! The capital is totally different than the rest of the country. Kind of scary. Like you, I would have been giggling thru the whole trip from nerves! Take care and thanks for sharing!!
Well they didn't properly search anything about good restaurants or dishes. They couldn't even communicate with waiter then they ordered random things. That's expected.
Thank you guys for watching!!❤ Let us know in the comments what you make of this roller coaster of a video...😂

Love how the song at 10:34 was Cyprus' entry in Eurovision 2012...which was held in Azerbaijan!

Aprilyn's my spirit animal, doesn't talk much but the facial expressions says it all. lmao. What a fun experience for you guys.

Enthusiastic for sure!
So nice to look back at where the Mossy Earth journey began! 😊

Interesting country. I've thought of traveling in that region of the Silk Road. Our Yellowstone National Park has, what we call, mud pots.
Really excited to visit Azerbaijan after all your discoveries LOL
You can also find mudpools in Iceland as well...along with background scenery....🙂
Great video - very interesting and different

Your convo with the fake taxi driver left me in absolute stitches 🤣🤣🤣
Super cool the bubbling mud! Definitely one of your most unique experiences? 😄
That was one for the books😂
That was so chaotic. I love it. 🤣

There’s a posh resort at Caspian Sea outside Baku .
When in Rome......
Azerbaijan is a bit different, yup, I`ll give you that - but it`s fun in a sense.
The swearing in Cantonese had me LOL. 😂

Your videos in Azerbaijan cracked me up. I laughed so hard like crazy. 🤣🤣🤣
Your video so amazing and funny 🤣❤️ I am from Azerbaijan ❤️

This video came out in time. I am trying to decide between a trip to either Baku or Istanbul and I still cannot make a choice (I've never been to either). What do you think I should pick?

Not me screaming when they danced to the Cypriot Eurovision-song from 2012 🥵🥳!
Very interesting country though…
I hope you consider visiting Japan now that they've opened up to visitors not in guided tours!
This trip was insane LOL I loved all of it

Y'all are far more brave than I am getting in a random "taxi" haha I'm so glad you still had a great time exploring and ending in Baku! I wonder why all of those police officers were pulling you over at the beginning? it's good to see Aprilynn back in the vlog! Travel safe, friends!

As a hongkonger which cantonese is widely spoken, I didn't expect you the last sentences you spoke is that (DLLM) JUST LIKE A LOCAL🤣
Hahaha YES! That is true praise🤣
Haha I like that she was watching F1 in the backseat. Which driver do you three root for?
Think she likes Hamilton, but we know next to nothing about F1😂

I pissed my pant when Dan blurted out of nowhere and said Dew-Lay-Lo-Mo 🤣
HAHA glad you caught it🤣
Какой тупой официант . Несмог накормить людей. Хоть бы на свое усмотрение кабабы принёс. Дал людям помидоры и горький перец на мангале. Жесть .
OMG.... You are so brave (OR crazy!)!! The capital is totally different than the rest of the country. Kind of scary. Like you, I would have been giggling thru the whole trip from nerves! Take care and thanks for sharing!!
Nice country
Good
Nice Video. The countryside looks a bit boring if you don't speak the language. Hope Baku is more fun.
Azerbaijani meals are so delicious ❤🎉

I am going to Azerbaijan in two weeks and until now I thought the food would be amazing ... Now I am a bit confused :$
Food is amazing, u will test it, their restaurant and dish choices were bad.
Well they didn't properly search anything about good restaurants or dishes. They couldn't even communicate with waiter then they ordered random things. That's expected.
@@orkhansalah9294 this is what I expect ☺️
Food is amazing ) they did not understand each other. They ordered a salad which we eat with kabab )
Aserbaidschan 🇦🇿 ❤️❤️❤️
"Depression on a plate'' 😂 I'm with you, Dan! I had a terrible Mexican dish at a restaurant last weekend and still pisses me off when I think of it. 😆
It's the worst😂
