- "I'd Still Say Yes" was a hit single recorded by Klymaxx for the Constellation/MCA label. Written by Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, G. Scelsa, and Joyce "Fenderella" Irby, and produced by Fenderella, it was released as the third single from their fifth album, Klymaxx.
An all-female Pop/R&B band from Los Angeles, California, Klymaxx, was a vision later formed by drummer, front woman Bernadette Cooper. Cooper, also provided the Infectious name "KLYMAXX". The dream of an all-girl band became Bernadette's quest and her pursuit dropping out of College to pursue. Through many auditions and temporary members, the group that became successful consists of drummer/vocalist Bernadette Cooper, vocalist Lorena Porter (Stewart), bassist/vocalist Joyce Irby, guitarist Cheryl Cooley and keyboardists Lynn Malsby and Robbin Grider. KLYMAXX is the only Pop/R&B female band to ever achieve such notoriety and fame. KLYMAXX changed the face of music by being females musicians. They were trailblazers and with their style and uncanny attitude they provided powerful, uplifting messages for women everywhere.

I am so lucky that I was born (11/10/58), I was in school the 60's, 70's, and last year in college at OU (University of Oklahoma) was 1982. However The 70's Was Simply Superb! All of the Great Music From Those 3 Decades. The 80's was good, the 90's was alright, But since the 2000's Music has went down hill for me.

If I'm not mistaken, 1987 yes? I was a Sophomore in High School at the time and broken up with my girlfriend that later became my son's mother after graduation lol. Life is so funny, I'm 49 now and my son is 29 years old with a daughter. Crazy how life comes full circle lol. I love the 80's music, it brings back so many memories of me growing up.
