- In today's episode of Lambvinskis Garage, we put a brand new exhaust system on Gage's 1978 C10 Square body Chevy! He bought quite the kit! We installed Sanderson Headers, Flowmaster Super 44s with a FULL 2.5 inch system! It definitely woke up this restricted big block Chevy! It was a long day but well worth it in the end! Sounds great! I’m putting a 454 in my K20. Taking off the smog setup as well and adding hedman long tubes

Love the work. Might be a stretch but… do you happen to remember the part number for the whole kit? Did it included the headman headers? You got it from Jegs? Summit? I’m struggling to find it online with the Super 44s
A set of closed chamber heads would wake that truck up big time .
What's the brand and model of those wheels? They look nice. Are you in California? The plates say California.

Those Chevy & GMC square body models were produced from 1973 through 1991, except the 10 & 20 series regular cab pickups were discontinued in 1987 & the 30 series regular cab pickups were discontinued in 1989.

@@LambvinskisGarage & 1980 was the last year for round shaped headlamps & the first year for the square shaped ones too. The square shaped headlamps came standard on models with the Silverado & Sierra Classic trim levels & optional on models with the other trim levels. 1980 was also the last year for the nose on the front, interior, & emblems to name a few with those designs on o blue there, & the last year for outside hood release too. 1978 was the last year for just the gas filler hole with the gas cap exposed & 1979 was the first year for the gas filler door.
